Our second time at the property and we love the house. Many little things (like a quick greeting card), that make for a lovely stay. It was a very hot week and we thought there might be an issue with the A/C, but our hosts were quick to respond even at 11:00pm. Everything turned out great. Highly recommend!

This perfect little house in Appomattox is the best! It is less expensive than the hotel in the town. You cannot ask for more than a 3 bedroom house with a wonderful kitchen, bathroom, front porch and snacks on the table. Beyond comfortable. Great TV selections in the living room with wonderful seating for all. Did I mention a washer and dryer! I have stayed in this house at least 4 times over the past few years. Don't hesitate to book this best kept secret in Appomattox.

The Bingham House is by far the most practical, small vrbo we've discovered! Modest description didn't do the house justice. Perfect as a home base for exploring Appomattox and surrounding area. We were welcomed with a note and snack basket. From reserving the rental several weeks ago through our visit and checkout, our hosts were excellent communicators. They consistently responded to emails/messages -- usually within minutes and never more than an hour. We appreciated our hosts' attention to detail. When they take care of the little things (e.g. high quality paper products), the important things follow. Our uv lights confirmed the kitchen, bathroom, floors, beds, and furniture in the TV room were spotless. Built in 1922, the house has been modernized without losing its original charm. The entire back yard is paved and level and private. It was easy to back our SUV to within a few feet of the back (kitchen) door for loading/unloading. The front/side porch was sunny and a welcome place to read, relax, and end the day. HVAC system is responsive. Shower has a low curb no curtain or sliding doors -- a generous rain head keeps the water under control. Kitchen/dining is a bit small especially on prep space, but is adequate. New refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. Full size range, microwave, dishwasher, large double sink, Keurig coffeemaker with Kcups. Small TVs in every bedroom and a large Smart TV in the living room -- sign in to your apps. Definitely on our re-run list!
