Wonderful home for our extended family to stay at while in Appomattox for our niece’s wedding at the end of September. The weather was perfect as well. Bill & Patti were excellent hosts and we enjoyed meeting them at their beautiful property on our departure date. We said this home reminded us of the popular 70’s TV show “The Waltons” as it made us feel at home in the country style kitchen, sitting areas, and well appointed bedrooms & bathrooms. The pool & gardens were gorgeous. 10/10!

This home was perfect for our family vacation. Bill was very accommodating and the house and pool were perfect. There were 13 of us that stayed all week with a bigger family gathering of 35 on Sunday afternoon. Plenty of room and suitable for all ages. The property is well maintained and we found plenty to do in the area.

The property was beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone plus more… The entire family enjoyed the pool. I can’t say enough about how great it was. Bill was also great and kind. We would definitely go back! The location was perfect also. Not far from town!

This is a beautiful home with tons of space for large groups. The kitchen is a wonderful size for large groups. The extra fridges was a big plus for our large group. Enough room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The pool was a huge hit for our group. I loved the porches and the sitting space they offered.

Great house for large group!

Several families stayed here for an annual reunion. It was perfect for a group our size. The kitchen was large and very well-equipped, which made cooking for a big group easy, and the kids and adults all loved the pool.

The manor is historic, beautiful inside and out, family friendly, and very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Our stay was just what we needed. We will definitely recommend and stay again if we are in the area again!

Nice accommodations for large families

The size of the house with all the bedrooms was wonderful for our stay and the price was very reasonable, comparable to hotel. There are some upgrades and cleaning that should happen, but would definitely use this rental again.

Great for larger group

Our family, especially the kids, really enjoyed the pool and the big lawn. We set up some disc golf baskets and had fun practicing and then cooling off in the pool. The owners were very attentive and responded immediately when I reached out with questions.

Celebrating 75!

We ranged from 4 to 75 years old and everyone had a fine time. The pool was the center attraction, then the back porch and deck. Beautiful old house and grounds.
