Why they chose this property
The property is located 20 minutes from Minnewaska State Park and the Holiday Mountain ski resort and half an hour from Mohonk Mountain House and the village of New Paltz. It is 50 minutes away from Woodbury Commons, Rhinebeck and Woodstock.
Holiday mountain is perfect ski for children. It’s 20 mins drive from the house. Mount Peter Ski Area Is approximately 50 mins drive from the house. And many more .
Skiing, snowboarding, apple picking, hiking, fishing and boating are nearby activities to enjoy.
Behind the private lake is the municipal golf course whose hills are great for sledding when the grounds are covered in snow.
Grocery shopping is available at ShopRite, Peter's Organic Market and Walmart Supercenter. In case of an emergency, the Ellenville Regional Hospital.
The Shadowland theater in Ellenville shows award winning off-broadway plays and there are summer camps for kids within a few minutes car ride.
You can enjoy delicious homemade pastries at Cohen's bakery just 5 minutes away by car.
