This place is fabulous! It is beautifully decorated and the hostess left everything you would want to feel at home - well equipped large kitchen, a large outside deck, lots of comfy throws, soft large towels, lots of toiletries and more, The location was perfect - just a few blocks from the Main Street in Lenox. The hostess was available whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend this rental

There were 3 of us for a 10 day stay. We found the property very clean and well appointed- furniture (including beds) was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the washer and dryer were easy to use. It was nicely decorated. It felt spacious and it was quiet. We enjoyed being able to sit outside on the deck for coffee in the morning and at the end of the day. The bedrooms were all on the 2nd floor and the staircase was narrow as is typical of houses of a certain era. One of us has some mobility issues but there was no problem navigating upstairs. Although we didn't need it, there is air conditioning throughout. The location was just great, very close to the downtown section of Lenox. And it was convenient to all the things that Lenox has to offer during the summer. The host was very available and answered any questions that we had, both before and during our stay. The one minor negative was the cell service wasn't great (this seemed to be true of the general area). However, it was easy to handle as long as you were near the router. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there on another occasion.

Perfect for Tanglewood

We were visiting (4 adults ) to see concerts at Tanglewood and pick our kid up from BUTI -- location is literally 3 blocks from the center of Lenox and 5 minutes by car to Tanglewood parking lots. House itself is spacious with very useful kitchen and gorgeous patio overlooking back garden. One note -/ 2 of the adults in our family are pretty elderly and while they're both very mobile the bedrooms are up a flight of stairs and anyone who is frail or unable to navigate them unassisted would have found the bedrooms inaccessible. Thanks again to our hosts !

We bought this house 16 years ago with my in-laws (they own side A as a summer home) to use as an escape from NYC. However, we moved to Westchester in 2010. The house is rarely used so often empty. We want to let others enjoy it, because it's a special place in a special area of the Berkshires.
