Perfect Black Hills getaway
This was such a nice place. We really felt at home. All the amenities that you wanted. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had everything you needed. They even supplied the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The backyard had an in ground trampoline (which we didn’t use) and a fire pit which we did use. There was even firewood in the garage. The downstairs level was very comfortable. Two bedrooms, a large bathroom and family room with a TV and even an air hockey table.
The bed in one of the first floor bedrooms was almost unusable. If two people slept on it, you would keep rolling to the middle. The solution to that problem, we used the other bedroom. Problem solved.
The lighting was a problem in this home, however. There were no lights in the living room area except the overhead fan light and canned ceiling lights. It would’ve helped to have some table lamps or at least a floor lamp behind the couch so that you could read if you wanted to. Also the bedroom side table lamps were too low to actually use them to read in bed if you wanted to.
The location of this home was perfect. Very accessible to everything. The grocery store was about a 15minute ride but that was no biggie. All of the national and state parks were within an hour away. We went to them several times. There’s so much to do in the area.
If you’re looking for a comfortable, family friendly and centrally located home for a vacation, check this place out. We had a wonderful time.
