The house was wonderful. Plenty of space and the best stocked kitchen I have ever experienced in a rental. Loved the extra touches like Kleenex in each room and appreciated that all light switches were labeled. Owner was very responsive and it was in a great central location for all of the places we planned to visit during our stay.

Excellent Place

The home was very clean and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. The neighbors were friendly and quiet. Property owner was so accommodating and responsive to questions. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Kids loved the trampoline and air hockey table. Everthing worked well. Would return to stay if we returned to the area.

Perfect family home

This was a perfect stay for my husband, myself and 6 kids, ranging from 1-21. There was plenty of space, the yard is fenced in, there's an inground trampoline, basketball hoop and an air hockey table. The hosts were very accommodating, we would stay again!!!

Large lodging for summer camp team

Very easy to communicate with the host. Very tidy house. We were glad to have a place for our large group to stay before leading a summer camp in the Black Hills. It was great!

Such a great place.

Even with us messing up they were very great hosts and understanding of our mistake. The house was great and homeowner and host we very good about communicating everything. We appreciate the use of the house and had a wonderful time.

Best House Ever

Easy check in with check out info given at time of check in which was a huge benefit. That was so nice so that we knew what was expected of us from the get go. Other places have waited until the last minute to give you that info. As a planner, that can be a big stresser. The house was CLEAN and even nicer than the pictures. The host / owner was accessible and ever so kind when a mishap occurred. I can’t thank them enough for their kind hospitality! We were so comfortable here that we wanted to stay longer.

Perfect Black Hills getaway

This was such a nice place. We really felt at home. All the amenities that you wanted. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had everything you needed. They even supplied the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The backyard had an in ground trampoline (which we didn’t use) and a fire pit which we did use. There was even firewood in the garage. The downstairs level was very comfortable. Two bedrooms, a large bathroom and family room with a TV and even an air hockey table. The bed in one of the first floor bedrooms was almost unusable. If two people slept on it, you would keep rolling to the middle. The solution to that problem, we used the other bedroom. Problem solved. The lighting was a problem in this home, however. There were no lights in the living room area except the overhead fan light and canned ceiling lights. It would’ve helped to have some table lamps or at least a floor lamp behind the couch so that you could read if you wanted to. Also the bedroom side table lamps were too low to actually use them to read in bed if you wanted to. The location of this home was perfect. Very accessible to everything. The grocery store was about a 15minute ride but that was no biggie. All of the national and state parks were within an hour away. We went to them several times. There’s so much to do in the area. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family friendly and centrally located home for a vacation, check this place out. We had a wonderful time.

Centrally located for everything we wanted to see and do in the Black Hills. The residence was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and eating dishes and silverware. The residence was spacious yet felt cozy. The host was pleasant and promptly answered any inquiries.

Excellent stay!

This property was excellent. My group consisted of four adults, two teens, and two kids. The kids enjoyed the trampoline and basketball hoop, and the adults loved the patio space. The house isn’t far from Rapid City and tourist locations. We’d definite stay again if we visit the area!

This house was perfect for our stay during our trip to South Dakota. Plenty of fun to entertain the kids while having some down time. Enough space for 6 people. Awesome location! Definitely would book again if we head out that way.

Best VRBO rental ever.

The house was clean, well stocked with just about everything you need. The location is perfect for all the activities, ie Sturgis, Mt Rushmore, Rapid City, Devils Tower, etc. The owners were very gracious and accommodating. This house felt like a home away from home. Will definitely rebook if available. If i couod give more than 5 stars, I would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Wonderful home near the Black Hills

This was the perfect home for me, my wife, our daughter and her husband, and our good friend -- 3 bikes, 5 riders -- during the Sturgis Biker Rally. The rooms were perfectly laid out, the kitchen was well equipped, and the amenities were just right. This home was our perfect home away from home. Plenty of rooms, comfortable and entertaining (we cooked burgers and hot dogs on the patio grill). Plus, the neighborhood was quiet, inviting, and in the perfect spot near the black hills, Sturgis, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and so on. Most important, Jeanne, our host, made our reservation experience very easy and accommodating thru ought our entire stay. So, we definitely would book again, and we extend our thanks to Jeanne and her son Shane for the comfort of their very nice home and everything they did to make our accommodations the best! --Manny & Gloria (Texas)

Sturgis Vacation

This was our second stay at Stage Stop Suite and continues to be a 5 out of 5 in every way. The home is just perfect for all of our needs and the easy communication with the owners/property manager makes the stay stress free. We'll definitely be back!

I rent another property through Vrbo, see Vrbo property 2444806. Stage Stop Suite is my son's home that he has asked me to manage in the summer. I own a cleaning business so all will be neat and clean.

Why they chose this property

My son works in Hill City all summer and chooses to live there rather than make the 2 hour commute each day. Since his house sits empty, he is glad to be able to share it with Black Hills guests.

What makes this property unique

The home has a garage plus a shop building behind the garage so plenty of room for vehicles and motorcycles. The back deck with grill is a great place for outdoor meals or conversation. A Firepit is available in the backyard with 1 bundle of logs. An underground trampoline is also available for youngsters or those young at heart.
