We loved staying at this property. The home was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Very comfortable and quiet. The location is great-close to good restaurants and nice places to go for a walk with the dogs.

Staying at Dwell House was an absolute delight. Clean and wonderfully appointed from the furnishings to the bathroom amenities. Comfortable beds and furniture. Kitchen well stocked for all our needs. The fenced area in the backyard was a big plus for our two small dogs. It’s literally walking distance to downtown Morganton. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend Dwell House.

The house was in a good location within walking distance to downtown. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I appreciated the nice coffee bar. The property has a small fenced area that our pup really enjoyed. We’d definitely stay at Rachel’s place again when we’re in the area.

This is a wonderful property, the neighborhood is quite, the quart yard in the back is very well maintained and it was great having a fenced in grass area for our dog to run around in. The house is thoughtfully planned out and well decorated. The study was a great addition, and a pleasure to have a desk to work from.

The Dwell Well…What a wonderful home!!

Everything was perfect! My sister and I were in Morganton for our family reunion. We walked in the door and were so impressed with the decor, the cleanliness, furnishings and the comfort of the Dwell Well House. I have stayed in several homes and this was the cleanest one ever. Rachel was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole booking and check in process. Our hope is to re-book each year for as long as our reunions continue.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in the Dwell Well home. The property was perfectly located near town but in a quiet neighborhood. The home was beautifully decorated but comfortably livable. Our dog especially enjoyed the fenced in backyard. The hostess was accessible, friendly and welcoming. We will rebook Dwell Well for our Morganton trips.

We did not cook anything as we were busy celebrating out 50th class reunion at NCSD. We wished to have ice maker. As you might notice that I had to but a bag of ice. There were no shower soap. Other than that we enjoyed our stay comfortably. Is the sofa as the 3rd bed?

Cute, Cozy, and Convenient

After seeing the pictures I was expecting a really cute updated house, but the house was even cuter than the pictures. It was a perfect size and perfect location. We really liked the proximity to historic downtown. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and made for restful nights. The house is equipped with the latest in technology and appliances which made life even easier. We will definitely book again for future visits to Morganton.

Cousins weekend

This home couldn’t have been more perfect! We felt welcome from the second we arrived. Everything was clean and very comfortable. We arrived late and did not have time to go to the supermarket. There was freshly ground, coffee and creamer and healthy snacks awaiting us which made our first morning there. So much easier. Great start to our first day of vacation. This home has a great location and is easily walkable to downtown Morganton. Would highly recommend a stay here!

Charming and Clear

This was a fantastic rental experience. The house is a adorable, and in pristine condition. Communication with and from the host was excellent. Wonderful neighborhood walking distance to downtown Morganton. But what really elevated this rental experience was the labeling and guest instructions. Everything is very clear - how to get in, where to park, where the sofabed sheets are, how to access the property, where the lights are, how the fireplace works, etc. We loved our stay at Dwell Well House and can't wait to return.

Family trip

Dwell Well lives up to the name! We rented for a weekend back in Morganton to visit family and it was a wonderfully located and appointed property for our trip. Rachel was an exceptional host, making sure we felt at home from the first time of contact through to the thoughtful treats left and follow up on questions when there. I like to spend my time with loved ones, cooking, exploring the many mountainous adventures, and traveling as often as possible. I like to get to know the areas I explore. As a host, I use "the Golden Rule" and try to create an environment that I would want to be in as a guest. Cleanliness and comfort (i.e. nice towels and sheets) are always a priority. We are very flexible and do what we can to make each guest's stay as nice as possible and to make everyone feel at home. I'm happy to answer any questions about the house or about Morganton, please just text or message any questions you might have. I split my time between Virginia and Morganton, NC. I travel frequently and although my interaction with guests is minimal, I am always very responsive via phone, text, or the messaging system.
