The house was very nice. The only bad part was the road into the cabin. Very tight and a little rough. Be sure to print out the entire directions like the host tells you!

Thanks Sandra, we are happy that you enjoyed your stay! To our future guests - book with confidence! The easy road leading to the cabin coming from Blue Ridge is almost 100% paved. The last 1/8 mile is maintained gravel leading to our concrete parking area. The last mile along the creek is more narrow than a road in the suburbs and the speed limit for the last mile is 15 for that reason. As Sandra mentioned, we provide every guest turn by turn directions and last mile directions with photos so that they have everything they need to reach the cabin frustration free. And we do recommend that folks download or print them. Guests love our setting on a pond and creek! The cabin is close (within 20 minutes) to 3 towns but also in a wonderful rural waterfront setting in the best area in the county, near National Forest in Cashes Valley.

Amazing property to relax and enjoy the quiet. The location was great for day outings in the area. We slept well to the music of the woods and bullfrogs all night.

Great location with a pond and access to the stream. Directions for the last mile with pictures was SO helpful. House is very roomy with lots of outdoor porch/deck area to enjoy the scenery. Host was great and very responsive. Highly recommend!

The cabin was great for us, it had all the things we were needing to do and was nice and quiet without the worry of other tourists. The pond out front was nice and fire pit was nice. Had a nice open area and was good for spending time together. Beds werent the best but not bad either.Drive out there is a bit far from both towns but worth it.

Rural, isolated, beautiful, quiet, peaceful! Rustic house with modern up to date appliances! An additional full-size freezer in the garage. A K-pod plus a regular 12 cup drip coffee maker in the kitchen, plus coffee makings. Well stocked with cookware, utensils, condiments, etc. Plenty of room and just right for our party of 9, including 2 children 10 & under. No wireless phone service but Wi-Fi worked great! The pond was very charming, and we used it to great advantage for our 50th anniversary plus family photos. Enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the morning with our coffee, taking in the changing colors of the leaves; the fog flowing through the mountain trees and the mist gently gliding across the pond and watching the deer! The kids loved playing in the beautiful creek at the back of the property. We so looked forward to using the fire pit located next to the creek and listening to its soothing sounds, but unfortunately the wind picked up a little too much for that to feel safe. The venue has a binder with a lot of useful information, including check-in / out, how to, rules / requirements, closest locations, etc. Dave was a fantastic host providing helpful & require information days before arrival, including detailed point to point driving instructions. (Be aware that the bridge is actually a large culvert, somewhat hard to see.) Dave stayed in touch via text and always responded in a timely manner to my inquires. Great trip!

The cabin was perfect. Awesome for family and pets. The host was incredibly responsive. Cabin was clean and well appointed. The area by the river was so serene. The pond out front was fun. The master shower was an amazing bonus. . One of the best we have found in the blue Ridge area. Highly reccomend staying here.

This place was amazing. Ping pong table and hot tub were great. Fightingtown Creek was just a short walk from the cabin with a cool little pond. Would definitely stay here again everyone loved it.

This house has everything! Fire pit on the creek, porch overlooking pond, large kitchen with everything you could possibly need, fun games, and hot tub. Great if you love being outside or inside. Plus close to Blue Ridge and hiking. Owner responds quickly to questions! Highly recommend!

Exceptional property and management! Our family, including 2 pups, totally enjoyed a short spring break visit here. It seemed very peaceful, had everything we needed and lots of extras - comfortable beds and seating, nice water pressure for showers, kitchen well equipped, nice grill, wonderful hot tub, pond and stream with firepit were great, fenced area for the dogs, fun ping pong table. All exceeded our expectations. We only left for a few excursions - Mercier Orchards for one and some of our group went for atv riding (Blue Ridge Offroad Adventures) which they enjoyed despite cold wet weather that day. We would definitely like to return, maybe in the summer!

This cabin was nice and secluded. It had a small manmade pond and a creek that was past that with a small fire pit area. It was a really nice getaway not too far from BlueRidge. You do have to drive down some tight windy roads and spend a little time on a gravel road, but that’s north Georgia for you.

Great mountain getaway

This is a great property and we had a wonderful stay. Host was extremely responsive to any questions we had. House was very spacious, well stocked and clean. Having the fishing pond and creek running through the property were amazing. We'd definitely stay here again.

Mountain getaway
