Enjoyed another long fall weekend hunting in the area and relaxing by the lake. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. We will definitely be back.
This was a great place for our group of friends to stay. It had all the amenities you could ever need, and Courtney was very easy to get ahold of if need be. Definitely would stay here again!
Great place with great views. Fishing trip for hubby and I, did well on small mouth bass regardless of all fast moving ski jets, water skiing and tubs being pulled. Cabin is very nice, love the fire pit and view.
This cabin has a warm and cozy atmosphere. Cabin is clean and well-furnished. Fishing was good off the dock. Beautiful patio area for evening fires and daytime relaxation.
The home is clean and well taken care of. The location is amazing with great views of the lake. The property owners are very responsive and accommodating. We are looking forward to next year’s stay!
Enjoyed a long weekend getaway. The cabin was perfect for a weekend of grouse hunting, fishing and relaxing by the fire. Would definitely recommend this property.
Cabin was clean and was a great location. S’mores were a nice touch. Friendly responsive hosts. We took our ATV out, rented the pontoon, kayaked, fished and had fires each night. It was perfect.
This property was great! We came up for my brothers bachelor party and we’re able to just have a nice relaxing weekend on the lake and do some fishing/boating. Very impressive property and we’ll maintained!
This was a great little cabin with plenty of beds. It comes equipped with everything you need including firewood for a bonfire and gas grill for cookouts.
This location is in a secluded area away from the rat race of the city. We enjoyed the beautiful cabin, being right on the lake and the amenities provided. Kayaking and canoes were provided, outdoor sand bag game, and indoor games were also provided.
Courtney has thought of every comfort. Beautiful spot, very comfortable. Responsive to any questions. The kitchen is fully stocked and a joy to cook in. Highly recommend for either a quiet or active get away.
We absolutely loved our stay at Chris and Courtney’s cabin. It is right on the lake with a beautiful view and has everything you need for a quiet and peaceful little getaway. The cabin is clean, stocked with everything you need, and the layout is perfect for a family. Chris and Courtney were super responsive to questions and even let us book an extra night last minute because we weren’t ready to leave yet. We will definitely be back, and I would highly recommend <3. Thank you!

About the host
Hosted by Chris and Courtney Sebesta
Our family of six enjoys a fast-paced lifestyle and welcome our times at the lake to retreat. Our 4 children range from 5 to 18 years old which keeps life fun and eventful at all times. We permanently reside south of Eau Claire (about 50 miles away) and enjoy about an hour drive whenever we come to the lake.
Why they chose this property
My husband, Chris, is a Neillsville native and grew up camping at Lake Arbutus. He enjoyed all the amenities as well as skiing, tubing, swimming and exploring the campgrounds. We have since been camping as a family here at Lake Arbutus for the past 15 years and enjoy everything this lake and area have to offer. We have created so many memories as a family and we want the same for our guests!
What makes this property unique
Location, location, location! We truly believe we have a great location on Lake Arbutus for multiple reasons. Located on the east side of the lake, we enjoy close proximity to the Neillsville community and beautiful western sunsets. Boat to Russell Memorial Park and enjoy the beautiful beach and play area during the day; cap off your evening with a cruise up the river to the Riveria Pub and Grill for dinner. Our views are incredible; one can see trains passing over the dam on the south end of the lake as well as beautiful river views looking to the north. Being at end of the Black River, our water experiences a constant turnover and keeps the water clarity good throughout the summer. Our young children enjoy playing in the shallow water and can easily touch all the way out to the dock.
