This 3BR/2.5BA chalet features charming alpine architecture, a spacious interior, WIFI, Gig-speed ethernet, and an unbeatable locale near the slopes and Truckee. Take a scenic walk on the Alder Creek Trail, located just outside your door.

Enjoy fabulous Tahoe Donner amenities, including pools, hot tubs, a sauna, fitness center, and access to the beach club and tennis center.

LIVING AREA

Sip hot cocoa next to the gas fireplace in the inviting living area. Stream favorite shows on the 32-inch smart TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

The well-equipped kitchen features a full suite of appliances. Find all the gadgets and cookware needed to create delectable meals.

Enjoy morning coffee at the three-person kitchen bar. When it's time to eat, gather at the table for six in the dining area.

BED & BATH

Find comfort in the tranquil primary suite, which offers a queen bed and a gas fireplace. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, jetted tub, and double vanity.

The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while the third bedroom offers two twin beds. A Jack-and-Jill bathroom features a double vanity and a tub/shower combination.

A convenient half bath is located adjacent to the living area.

Six maximum number of occupants (excluding children under 13 years of age) permitted.

OUTDOOR AREAS

A spacious back deck has a gas grill, alfresco dining, and a staircase that leads to the yard. The lovely Alder Creek Trail is just steps away!

EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and Gig-speed ethernet, a washer/dryer, and parking for five cars (two in the garage and three in the driveway). Gigabit Ethernet is provided in the living area, primary and third bedrooms.

Your reservation will include two passes that allow a total of eight guests to access the Trout Creek Recreation Center for a nominal daily fee per person. Enjoy incredible amenities, including swimming pools, hot tubs, a fitness center, and a sauna. Your purchase also includes access to the Tahoe Donner Tennis Center and the Beach Club Marina. This home is accessed via a short flight of stairs at the entryway. The chalet does not have air-conditioning.

Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances (gas grills are ok).

THE LOCATION

Discover the area's best family-friendly skiing at nearby Tahoe Donner Ski Resort. For sledding and tubing, make your way to Snowplay, or explore 100 km of trails at the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center.

In the summer, practice your swing at Tahoe Donner Golf Course and explore over 60 miles of hiking trails in the area. Venture out on horseback from the Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center.

Winter getaway

Great location. Close to ski resort which was nice since the lodge at the resort is closed. Skiers were able to come back to the house for a lunch break and then head back to ski with no problem. The house had everything we needed and then some.

Cozy cabin

This cabin has a feel at home vibe. Its cozy for the winter and definitely family, and pet friendly. My family really enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely come back.

Perfect Tahoe Donner Home

This home is ideally located in Tahoe Donner with great access to both alpine and nordic skiing. The home is well equipped and wonderfully comfortable. During our December stay we received a TON of snow and the driveway and roads were plowed and kept clear.

Beautiful Cabin had a very nice visit

Gorgeous clean cabin, very nicely stocked fridge, easy booking. This is nothing against the cabin, but there is no fenced area outside for dogs except for the wooden decks. I believe this may be the case for all of Tahoe Donner? Also you must be able to handle stairs with no issue. As long as this works you will have a lovely time. very quiet with beautiful local views.

A delightful home!

We loved the location and accommodations of this house. While being stuck in a snow storm, the driveway and roads were plowed twice a day. The garage was available for our vehicle and extra snow gear was labeled and accessible. We felt very comfortable and glad to be there.

We got stranded in snow on our way. The host and Vacasa were very supportive and responsive for our requests. We had a great time. The home is very comfortable and has all the things we need. There’s a team cleaning up snows every morning (2 ft inch of snow!)

Beautiful house great location

Hard to beat the ease of access to Tahoe Donner X country or downhill. House is well kept and a bright, welcoming open floor plan. Only minor complaint was the mattress in the rear downstairs bedroom is a bit warped and could use replacement. One tip - it is possible (and helpful) to turn around in the driveway to ease getting in and out on to the road - just requires a five point turn.

Great place but dog hair

The house is very nice overall. Good bedrooms, nice amenities. The listing does say dogs are allowed, but I did expect it to be cleaner. There is white dog hair all over the house, and it gets on every single piece of clothing, unfortunately. The house needs a deep clean to get rid of it all.

Awesome Setup for 2 Families!

We loved our stay at the Chic Chalet! The house setup was perfect with one large primary bedroom upstairs and 2 nice sized bedrooms downstairs - great for our two families. The house is easy to get to and the driveway is a very gentle slope, which was perfect during the snowy weather. The house backs up to a small creek, and our kids had a blast stomping around in the snow. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the living room was stocked with games for all ages! The house has tons of large windows and is fun and cozy! Overall we had a great stay!!Just a few things to note for other travelers: it is a pet-friendly property and though it was well cleaned when we got there, two of our friends had their allergies flare up. For coffee makers, there's a Keurig and a French Press/electric kettle. We brought coffee ground for a regular coffee machine but just used it in the press and it worked great! Last thing: bring sleep masks if you like it super dark at night. The neighbor's lights are quite bright (but he was also a very nice guy!). None of these things affected our stay, just thought it'd be helpful for others! :)

Tahoe Donner area is awesome for pretty much everything. We enjoyed playing in the snow with kids, tubing at a close by resort and skiing. The cabin has pretty much everything you need and then some. I would stay there again.

Great Location

This house has it all! We had the best time staying here for the weekend. It was clean and comfortable. There was a lot of area outside to play in the snow which we did a lot of! We stayed during a winter storm so it was a nice touch that the driveway was plowed and there was garage space to park! The home is fully stocked with everything you would ever need in the kitchen. They even had a whole shelf of games and activities for the kids. Definitely would recommend this home to anyone!
