We stayed at Hideaway Cabin for five nights and absolutely loved it. The cabin is small, cozy and perfect for two, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The mountain view is beautiful, the setting is genuinely private, and the hot tub and firepit made every evening feel special. One of our favorite things was being able to hike directly from the property, including the trail toward the waterfall. We explored Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park, but we were always happy to return to the cabin. Some of our best moments were simply sitting outside, watching the mountains, listening to the woods and enjoying the stars. The kitchen was well equipped, the gas grill worked great, the bed was comfortable, and the cabin was clean and welcoming. The host was responsive, helpful and honest about the mountain road. The final section is steep and rough, so the recommendation for an AWD or higher-clearance vehicle should be taken seriously, but our Ford Explorer handled it without any trouble when driven carefully. We booked the cabin because of the view, hot tub, firepit and privacy, and it delivered on all of them. After five nights, we honestly did not want to leave. We would absolutely stay here again.
