Great location,in proximity to the Watkins Glenn race track. Awsome view from the front porch of the water fall in town. Very comfortable beds and quite area.
Wonderful experience. The house was easy to locate & just enough out of town to not have to deal with tourists‘ traffic. There is a fenced in back yard: great for our dogs. Porches front & back of house so welcoming. The house is so cool, literally with air conditioning. We loved each room, especially upstairs with the window nook & table. Children’s area was enchanting. Also appreciated the fire ladders. Kitchen had everything to eat in a couple of nights. Best family vacation in a long time. Thank you.
Gorgeous home, extremely well stocked. The location was excellent and the beds were so comfy! We had some technology issues with VRBO that made entering the home a challenge at first but Sarah was quick to get back to us and send along the info we needed to check in. Thanks for sharing your home Sarah!
This is an historic house with 21st century modernization. It has beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen. There is a lovely covered front porch for sitting outside and a spacious, fenced backyard for sitting, playing, etc., that includes a fire pit. The location is within walking distance of the village of Montour Falls and the scenic town Falls as well as being just a short drive (3 miles) to Watkins Glen State Park and the Watkins Glen racetrack. Many other state parks are just a short drive away (20 minutes). This house is a perfect place to stay and explore the Finger Lakes region. The owner is very kind and responds promptly.
I have to say the house and everything in the house is much more than what presented on the site. This is well thought after and superb managed property. Everything you can think of is there and owner still striking to improve. You will be sure to have a good time in and out of the house.
We have ten adults in the house for 3-4 days and we had a blast and many brought things that owner already provided in the house. As a realtor, I have seen plenty of houses, old and new, but this house for a home is prepared like your own home! Just to say, you will find everything you need in the house from kids to pet, from playing to living!
Much appreciated the experience and glad we took this one!
Perfect spot to stay near Watkins Glen while at the same time not having to deal with all the trafic
An older home but oh so comfortable. Has everything you need with great location near Watkins Glen but away from all the traffic. Owners are very flexible and easy to deal with!!
