Overall a good experience

This was my first VRBO stay, I honestly expected a lot more, the house was way smaller than I pictured but we made it work, however, there was a HUGE pest problem, ants everywhere, dead and alive, a few roaches and other critters. The critters I didn’t mind so much but the ants and roaches were a bit too much. Please consider adding a electric kettle. The bed in the master bedroom is completely awful, it creaks with every movement, please consider investing in a new frame, they really aren’t that expensive. Otherwise the house was okay. The backyard is bland, which is normal for a summer in south Fl, however some people really do enjoy outdoors.

Time in Pompano

Overall the place was good. We had a few hiccups with the guest bathroom draining slow, the ants all around the house (we got ant spray), the dryer was not completely drying the clothes, and we also thought the house was bigger but the outside pictures were not listed in the description.

Nice home needs minor upgrades

The property was in good condition except a few issues such as, no outlets in the main bathroom and the one outlet in the master bath didn’t work. Wish kitchen had a few more essentials, like pots and pans to make basic breakfast items, especially helpful when you have a group of people. We didn’t use the backyard on our visit because it rained our whole trip. We didn’t realize the 4th bedroom entrance was outside until the end of our stay, in which, the A/C wasn’t on in the room anyway. It was fine since we were good with the three bedrooms inside. Other than that, our stay was ok for the short time we needed.

Good place if you just need somewhere to sleep.

Prior to our booking there were no reviews so we had nothing to go on and took a chance. The house has 4 bedrooms which was enough to accommodate 7 of us. To get to the 4th bedroom you have to walk out of the house to the screened patio to get to it so not ideal for younger children. The check in process was easy. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked great but there were a few things that could be improved. First of all when we entered the home it smelled like smoke. The TV in the master bedroom was mounted on the wall but too far away to plug it into the outlet. We were lucky that my daughter travels with an extension cord so my husband and I were able to watch TV. The mirror in the master bathroom was really low to where I had to bend down to see myself and I’m only 5’6”. My husband is 6’2” so it didn’t work well for him. The bathrooms and the kitchen look as if they were recently remodeled so that was a plus. The neighborhood was fine no excess noise and close to the beach and stores.
