About this property

No. 302 at D Sands Condominiums is a privately owned condo we call "Tidal Recall”. This one bedroom, one bathroom suite is located 30 steps up on the third floor and guests can take in those ocean views from the condo's large wall of windows or out on the private balcony.

Perfect for giving a smaller group plenty of space, this condo sleeps up to 4. Enjoy the privacy of the King bed in the bedroom, or sleep in the living room next to those natural ocean sounds on a Queen Murphy bed, which can fold up during the day for little more space. This condo also has a roomy walk-in shower.

Tidal Recall also comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette, complete with full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, oven, drip coffee maker, and microwave, and a small dining table to allow you to enjoy an oceanfront dining experience from the comfort of your condo.

The Unit of Association Owners, our HOA, provides Wi-fi and cable TV throughout the complex, an indoor heated pool, and a hot tub. D Sands Condominiums also features its own easy and private beach access so that guests can take full advantage of our oceanfront location and play in the sand and surf.

Centrally located in the middle of Lincoln City, D Sands Condominiums is an easy walk to Kyllo's, Lincoln City's favorite restaurant on the beach, a wine bar, Chinese food and so much more. A quick car ride can take you to the Chinook Winds Casino or the Lincoln City Outlets, not to mention all the other fun dining, shopping, and activity destinations in town.

If you walk 15-20 minutes on the beach to the north, you will find natural tidepools with all kinds of sea life. Or stay a little closer to home, and take in one of the most famous rivers in the world, the D River, the shortest river on the planet. The D River State Recreation Area is adjacent to the property, and provides even easier access to the beach in the form of a gradual slope. We're also conveniently close to a variety of other recreation areas and hiking trails for the avid nature lover.

The view was spectacular!!

The overall stay was ok but noisy road. Many restaurants & bars either direction. Being senior citizens we knew there was not an elevator but got tired of the stairs. Wish there had been a washer & dryer onsite. We spent 12 nights there & they didn't leave any windex to clean windows that was disappointing. Probably won't stay there again even tho the price was ok.

Exactly What We Wanted

This was exactly what we wanted! Ocean front with a balcony, very clean and convenient with a large kitchen. Bonus was perfect weather! We would definitely stay here again.

Horrible parking

The work being done on the exterior of the buildings made parking a nightmare! There was not sufficient parking for the guests plus the workers & trailers. We were blocked in one morning until noon.

Spotless, comfortable view of the ocean

We spent most of our time in the front half of the unit, watching the cold winter storms blow in over the ocean as we sat warm and comfortable on the couch in the living room. Between cooking in the decently equipped kitchen, eating at the dining room table, and watching the ocean from the balcony, we napped on the couch (that folds down into a bed) or watched TV. The only downside was the noise of the traffic when trying to sleep in the bedroom. The bedroom is fairly close to the hwy which is on an incline so the vehicles are moving pretty fast and downshifting loudly. On the second night we turned on the fan to its loudest setting and that helped a bit. Overall, it was a very positive experience in a clean and comfortable rental.
