This was an awesome place for our family! We loved having a view of the water from the balcony and the fruit stand across the street was an added bonus! A very spacious corner unit that had all of the amenities we needed.

Perfect place

This was the perfect place for our family. We loved the space & rooms. The outside patio was awesome for morning coffee and sunset. The location was great for beaches & restaurants. I would definitely recommend.

Nice Property

This property definitely met all of our needs. The property manager was quick to respond and was great assistance with an electrical issue. The only concern was the property is on a busy road at times but the Hawaiian aloha spirit always allowed us to pull out.

Can’t say enough about this condo. Perfect home base for us visiting family on the Big Island. Our kids got plenty of use out of the recreation area and pool table. Great options while I worked in the morning. Loved it. Will be back.

We enjoyed our stay, but mattresses and pillows need to be updated. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple meals, and the flower and fruit market across the street on the weekend was very nice. Overall, positives outweighed the negatives

Great stay

We stayed for just under two weeks and couldn’t have been happier with the condo. The unit was exactly as pictured and described. We especially loved relaxing on the lanai with its ocean view.The food truck across the street was fantastic and having a small farmer's market just across the street (open on weekends) was incredibly convenient. In the evenings, we enjoyed walking across the street to catch sunsets from the beach behind the church.The condo had plenty of space for our group of three adults and one teenager, with room to spare (the couch could easily accommodate an extra person). Having an in-unit washer and dryer was a huge plus.We had no complaints or concerns and would absolutely book again.

Great location, spacious condo

Betsy's place was in great condition...clean space, lots of room in bedrooms and commons spaces, updated kitchen and enormous patio. It's about a mile walk into town, which we did everyday. Super enjoyable and we'll be back.

Great family fun!

Last minute booking for family with two boys (ages 8 & 11) over Thanksgiving break. Fantastic location, family loved the pool and game room. Everything was clean and we kept all food in the refrigerator due to notices posted in elevator regarding rat infestation. However, it seemed like a neighbor who lives there and doesn’t want vacationers on the property. We didn’t have any trouble with critters or bugs but I gave two stars because when we let the property manager know he simply didn’t text back.

Great place!

Betsy was great and easy to communicate with. We loved the condo. The church across the street can get loud and it’s very busy. The condo was stocked with all supplies we needed and overall loved it. It was also nice to not be in the middle of town. One of the nicest we’ve stayed in.

Just wow!!!

As soon as we walked in the door we felt at home, and our first words were WOW! Everything was so comfortable and beautifully furnished. The pool table, ping pong, pool, bbq grill, and fully stocked game cabinet and beach equipment were much appreciated. Our only problem is that we were so happy sitting on the lanai enjoying the view, we hardly wanted to go sightseeing! Mahalo for sharing this wonderful place!

Kona Coast Magic

Awesome condo. Stocked with everything needed. Wonderful wraparound lanai with great ocean and mountains views. Situated perfectly for restaurants and shopping. Slept every night with screen door open, hearing waves crashing gently across the road. Small complex, very few neighbors around, swimming pool was ours for the 10 day stay.

Excellent condo, great location

The condo was beautiful! Very clean, very well decorated. Plenty of comfortable furniture inside and out. There are plenty of beach supplies as well which was greatly appreciated. The only issue I had was the AC was broken, I contacted the management company and they had a service tech out quickly. It was fixed quickly. I highly recommend this condo. All around a great experience!

What everyone else said!

Perfect for our family of 4! Loved the lanai at the front door with hooks for all our wet beach clothes and tile floor floor for our sandy shoes. Well stocked kitchen, large washer and dryer - all sorts of things to make our stay perfect (even reef safe sunblock!). The wraparound lanai on the front with stunning ocean views was divine - not to mention the constant ocean breeze keeping us cool. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful. We had a fantastic stay and will book this condo again. Mahalo for a great stay, Betsy.

Everything you could want and more!

This property was excellent all around. No dealing with checkin just simply arrive. Everything you could need was included - toiletries, kitchen items including salt, pepper, oil etc. And even equipment to enjoy the beach! The lanai was wonderful to hang out on and it is close to towns - short drive or trolley ride and even walk to a marketplace and beach. Wasn't crazy about being across the street from the beach because there tended to be some loud cars, but you could still hear waves which made up for it. We had such a great stay!

Amazing view, Great Location, Friendly Host

Betsy and her husband were the most amazing, thoughtful, and accommodating hosts! We really enjoyed our time at this rental- the place was spacious, clean and a GREAT location. I was able to walk (a little over a mile) to the nearby magic sands beach (we loved this one!). The unit itself was VERY WELL stocked with everything we needed for our two week stay(cleaning supplies, kitchen essentials, laundry, beach gear). The view is incredible, it was so great working (no wifi issues!) from the balcony- very comfortable space. This rental is definitely a place we would stay at again with our families during future visits. Mahalo Betsy for your great hospitality, it really added to the magic of Big Island!

Beautiful view!

Betsy was super helpful in planning the trip and even letting us borrow a pot to steam some lobster! The condo is comfy and spacious. We were very happy. The AC unit will only go for two hours at a time (on a timer) and it was too humid to sleep with the doors open. It was only an issue for two of the nights. All the snorkel equipment was put to good use!

Great Stay!

Overall a wonderful stay. I loved being able to stay out on the lanai and eat our breakfast and enjoy the beautiful views. We had a few things that came up that needed to be fixed. One of them was the dishwasher was broken and we had to wash dishes by hand, and there was a little bug infestation above the stove that we took care of. I would definitely go back even though there was a few little issues. What’s to complain about so much when you’re in Hawaii!!! It was great to have the pool which my daughter really enjoyed a couple of the days and also enjoyed learning to play pool.

Guests from the Northwest.

When we arrived at the property it was like traveling from door to door. The only thing a guest needed to buy was their food. In all my travels I have never seen such a well equipped condo. The lanai was huge. It was wonderful to be able to look at the beach across the street. My one and only disappointment was the pool. It was murky looking. Hence, we did not spend any time in it.

Great place to stay on the Big Island! Awesome wrap around Lanai

This is a delightful condo on the Big Island in a perfect location. The condo has been updated with very nice kitchen and baths with beautiful granite and high end appliances. The kitchen is the best stocked of any VRBO I have ever visited. There was not anything we could think to add to the kitchen! The wrap around Lanai is where you will spend a lot of time just watching the ocean and surfers. Ali'i drive is a very busy road with runners and cycling which is also fun to watch and even better if you are a runner. Plenty of restaurants near by and shopping. Betsy has put a lot of thought into what makes a place great by placing games, books and Smart TV and wi-fi if the time change has you up at odd hours! September was a particularly hot and humid time and we struggled with limited air conditioning (something we take for granted on the mainland!) But when the ocean breeze starts up it is delightful. The pool was well cared for and we enjoyed using it in the mornings. Parking garage was handy and seemed safe with an elevator if you have heavy items. Overall the property very clean. I would refer this to my friends if they visit the island. Betsy was very accommodating and helpful with good customer service.

Beautil Rental in Kailua-Kona!

My husband, daughter and myself just returned from our first trip to the Big Island. We had such a lovely time and can not wait to go back! Our stay was enhanced by our perfect accommodations. The condo was immaculate, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed to make our vacation enjoyable. Betsy and Mike have literally thought of everything - beach chairs, beach umbrellas, multiple coolers, boogie boards and, to my utter joy- a drying rack for our wet towels and bathing suits! The condo is very spacious and comfortable. There is a wrap around lanai as well which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The lanai is also very well furnished with lounge chairs that are perfect for napping on! There is also a screened in back lanai where all of the beach equipment is kept and you can take your shoes off. There are very n ice beaches within a few miles of the condo. We loved Magic Sands for our morning swim and would usually head further out and explore other beaches later in the day. The town is only about a mile away and once you park, you can walk to many very good restaurants and shops. There is also an outdoor market that is within walking distance that was a lot of fun to poke around in. The island offers so much to see and do! There are many not to miss places - The Botanical Gardens, Place of Refuge, coffee plantations, waterfalls, etc. Betsy has compiled a very nice book of places that her and Mike like to go themselves and take their visitors to. I can only give this property 5 stars as that is the highest allowable! I have stayed at many rentals over the years but this one is my absolute favorite.
