If you are in town for an event at App State Univ or for a mountain retreat, this cabin will fit your needs perfectly! Less than 5 mi from Tweetsie, 8 mi from Blowing Rock, & 5 mi to Boone and ASU. At the end of your day, make sure you save some time to relax on the screened in porch to listen to the sounds of the river. Dog fee $150 for up to 2 dogs max.

Peaceful Getaway

Perfect place for a few days off the grid. All the comforts of home and close enough to everything you’d need…but with all the comforts of country living. Tough to beat the location…riverside accommodations like this are tough to find.

The property was nice. screened in porch was nice for dogs to run a little. Property is too close to the highway and vrbo should mention this. Otherwise we had a great stay!

Boone trip

This is a great cottage!!! Perfect size for me, my husband and our chiweenie! Had every amenity we could think of and then some. I love that is right on the river and so close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Will definitely rent it again, only caveat to this location is the driveway is difficult to get out of and hard to see cars coming around the curve as you maneuver out of the driveway, otherwise it is perfect!! I highly recommend!!

Relaxation and Location

Nothing better than opening up the windows on the screen porch and relaxing to the sound of a banking brook. And the house was kitted out very well. Only thing I needed from my bag of travel essentials was a pair of kitchen shears. Beds were really comfortable. And you are within 5 min of a grocery store and 29 min from the wonderful restaurants in Boone

Cute place, convenient location

Definitely enjoyed our stay here. Cute place, clean and very conveniently located. Plenty of kitchen implements. I was nervous that it was right next to the road, but the road is very quiet at night, so no issues sleeping at all. Would definitely recommend having a vehicle with 4 wheel drive, though. Driveway is steep gravel.
