Portside Resort Townhome Beautifully Updated with 2 King Beds!

Welcome to the beautiful, tropical Portside Resort. This family friendly resort features an incredible waterfall pool with hot tub, two additional pools, three tennis courts, shuffleboard, basketball hoops, workout room and a huge community center with books, games and a pool table! Sleeping options include a king bed in each of the upstairs bedrooms, while downstairs has a pull-out sofa couch with a new memory foam mattress. In addition to the primary bathroom, the master bedroom has an extra vanity / sink area and there is a convenient half bath downstairs. Your assigned parking space is right in front of the condo which will allow you to come and go easily while on vacation. No fighting for parking or thirty-minute waits on an elevator. This clean and quiet end unit townhome has been charmingly updated with fully tiled bathrooms, new flooring, shiplap accent walls and beautiful lighting throughout. A full-sized washer / dryer is a must for any beach vacation. A wagon, umbrella, beach chairs and a cornhole board set are available for you to use during your stay. The white sand beach of the Gulf of Mexico is just an 8 min walk or 2 min drive from the front door to feet in the sand!

We had a great time and enjoyed our vacation! The townhome was immaculately clean and our host thought of everything that we might need during our stay. The townhouse was updated and nicely decorated just as pictured. The beach chairs and sand wagon made the walk to the beach a breeze. Also, the pools and other amenities were very nice and updated. Our hosts were very responsive with any questions and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We definitely plan to come back in the future. Thank you.

Could not have been a more pleasant experience

First time staying in a VRBO and the property owners really impressed me. They replied immediately with check in details, had the property in excellent condition, described it just how it is and had detailed instructions as well as restaurant suggestions, etc in the unit. Great Condo!

The condo was very clean and the owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with via text. The condo was fully equipped and functional from having beach chairs and wagon accessible, grill, kitchenware, dishwasher, washer, dryer, plenty of blankets and pillows, and starter toiletries. It made our stay so much easier and had things that I didnt even think of needing.

Wedding week stay

We rented this townhouse due to our oldest daughter getting married in Panama City & it was perfect! It was so clean and had everything we needed. All of the beach items in the outdoor closet were wonderful and so helpful as well. The pools were wonderful and the beach was a nice short walk across the street. Laura and Jed were AMAZING!! The house was spectacular and just as pictured. They made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible and had everything we needed. I give this condo a 10/10 we will definitely be booking again! The night security guard (didn’t get her name) was hilarious and very helpful/respectful.

This condo was very clean,Neat nicely decorated , close to everything beautiful pools, had everything you needed. Just bring your suit and beach towel. The host was great at communicating. We told them we were going to have a late arrival they left the lights on and turned on the air. Highly recommend would definitely stay again.

From the beginning, Mr and Ms. Davis made the whole process super easy without any issues. The place was absolutely fantastic! Super clean with everything we needed! We did not have to look very far to find anything and they even provided information on locations and places to eat and entertain the family. They were very quick to reply and answer any questions or help us resolve any issues we had. I would 100% recommend them for your stay! We enjoyed the stay and look forward to booking again for future tournaments.

Nice Friend Getaway

Host was awesome. She communicated well in advance about the directions and specifics for checking into unit. The unit was close enough for us to walk to the beach. The cart with the chairs and umbrella was great. We ventured to the excercise room of the resort but the place was in poor condition.

Winter Getaway

The townhouse is beautiful and had everything you need for an extended stay. The owners have taken very good care of the property and checked in to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The only drawback, it is located very close to a busy 4 lane road with a stop light intersection, so there is a lot of road noise (we were not use to road noise) so if you are a light sleeper this may bother you. But overall we loved the unit and everyone in the neighborhood is very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Port Side

This unit is beautifully decorated, while still being cozy and comfortable. All cook wear/utensils, etc that we needed were there. Layout was nice and roomy. Don’t let the 1 full bathroom sway you, because there is a separate sink area in the master so someone can get ready, while someone showers. Plenty of space in the entire unit. Beds and linens were very comfortable & there were plenty of towels. LOVED the outdoor closet with every beach toy imaginable. Wagon, chairs, umbrellas, toys, floats, boogie/skim boards. We didn’t have to buy anything. If I HAD to say anything negative it would all be things out of the owners control. It is a little bit of a walk. I didn’t mind it, I enjoyed getting the steps in. It was a little harder on my dad but there are parking spots up front to use & be closer to the beach. There is a little remodeling going on. If things are going to stay nice they require upkeep. Good news is, I think the corner this unit is on is pretty close if not completely finished. There is a beautiful new balcony to enjoy and the people working were kind. The road behind is a little bit noisy at times, there is a fan in the closet that we used to drown the noise out. It wasn’t constant noise either, just an occasional loud exhaust that sounded like people were racing. Pools were a little cool, but we stayed in mid-October and it gets pretty cool in the evenings. The owners were very easy to stay in contact with. Overall definitely would stay again.

Great condo

Everything was very clean and as stated in description. You could walk barefoot in the condo and your feet did not get dirty at all which was great. Owner was available if we had any questions or needed anything. Great decor and comfortable beds. Everything in the condo worked well also.

Hi! We are Jed and Laura Davis. We purchased this property in June of 2022. We have really enjoyed adding our own personal touches to the home. We also own a condo at Pinnacle Port and have managed the rentals at that condo since 2015. To see our reviews there, go to VRBO #804444. In June of 2021 we made the permanent move to Panama City Beach, and we live across the street from the Portside Resort. Jed and I have 4 grown kids who love to come visit us and spend time at the beach. Jed is retired Navy and currently works in IT. Laura is the primary manager / cleaner for both condos and is a retired Labor and Delivery nurse.

Why they chose this property

Portside Resort is such a fun, family-friendly property. The pools are awesome, especially the primary waterfall pool and hot tub. The resort is beautifully landscaped with a lush, tropical feel. A large club house in the middle of the property has a fitness room, pool table, books, games and more! Other amenities include 3 tennis courts and shuffleboard.

What makes this property unique

Jed and I live within walking distance to the townhome and will be available to take care of any problems that may arise.
