Central location for SxS

We needed a property that was side by side (SXS) friendly and this was perfect! We parked two trailers (38’ and 16’) and found it easy to get in and out for our week of trail riding. This property is secluded, quiet, and spacious. We truly appreciated all the little perks like the hot tub, fire pit with firewood, pellet grill, and washer/dryer. We found Florissant to be friendly and relaxed and truly enjoyed our time in this area.

A Perfect Relaxing Weekend in the Mountains

This property was absolutely perfect for a secluded weekend getaway in the mountains. Grayson had absolutely anything you could think of available for his guests. There was an abundance of towels for the bathrooms and hot tub as well as all the kitchen supplies you would possibly need. Everything was labeled and easily accessible. The beds, pillows and couch were extremely comfortable. The TV was wonderful, the soundbar was a nice touch and we really enjoyed the heated floors. The house felt very homey and cozy—we didn’t want to leave. There was also a beautiful park next door that our 2 year old absolutely loved. The hot tub was toasty and very enjoyable. We had a blast and would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing home in the mountains. Woodland park was only about 20 mins away which has a Safeway and a Walmart. Manitou Springs was only about a 35 min drive too! The location was perfect and we really hope to visit again soon. Thank you Grayson (& Rio (the sweetest pupper))!!

Girls weekend

Everything was absolutely perfect! Amazing view, The hot tub, fire pit, bbq, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. There’s a glow in the dark silicon cup that was perfect for the fire pit. I didn’t lose my cocktail all night! Great time. I will definitely be back. Thank you Grayson.

Perfect for a little weekend getaway

We were fortunate during our stay that no one, aside from the property owner for a very short period, were on the property. Loved the sprawling property. Lovely to walk around the property and play the yard games. Nice and calming, would recommend. GREAT communication with property owner. LOVE that the property uses essential oil diffusers. This didn't make or break our trip, but meant as feedback for owner & future guests:-While we do understand that we are staying in someone's home, we are paying money to stay there...it's a little off-putting with personal photos on the fridge & personal identifying items in the office area.-Teal hot mitts 100% need replacing, they DO NOT work...caution, you WILL burn your hands-Would like better amenities (coffee, tea, zippie bags, storage containers)-Teapot needs either a very good deep clean or replacing-Would be nice for sliding back door and laundry room door to have some type of covering-Beach towels need replacing/updating some of them are VERY scratchy.-Master bed needs to be rotated, but the bed, bedding and pillows were very comfy.-Fridge water filter needs to be replaced. -You cannot have more than one thing going that needs hot water. If you use the rain/big shower head then your hot water will run out fast, use the smaller shower head attachment to make hot water shower last longer. -Hot tub is great! Can't adjust temp higher and lights don't operate, but the jets do. This is posted on the sign by the hot tub.

Beautiful, Comfortable, 100% Recommended

Cannot express how wonderful our stay was. The home is beautiful, comfortable and organized. Beds are cozy, water was able to heat up quickly , house stayed warm and everything was clean. We visited in mid Nov, snow covered the front lawn and most the hill behind us, but roads were clear and easy to navigate, very important for us Dallas ladies not knowing how to navigate icy roads. The days were warm enough and snow compacted enough to go for hikes and enjoy the beauty of nature. Our host was quick to respond when we needed anything and did not intrude on our privacy. We 100% recommend this rental and hope to visit again, ourselves. . The area is beautiful and peaceful.

About Me

Growing up surrounded by the beauty of rural landscapes, I’ve always felt a deep connection to nature. The crisp mountain air, towering pines, and stunning vistas inspire me every day. I’m passionate about outdoor adventures like rafting down roaring rivers and spending quiet mornings fishing in peaceful mountain streams. These experiences remind me to slow down and appreciate the simple joys of life.

Gardening is another love of mine—there’s something incredibly rewarding about nurturing plants and watching them grow. That passion inspired me to create a vibrant market garden right here on the property, where guests are welcome to pick fresh vegetables during the season and enjoy the fruits of the land (please reach out for a YouPick session).

I created this retreat to share the magic of the mountains and the joy of the outdoors with others. Whether you’re here to explore the trails, relax by the fire, or simply soak in the views, I hope you feel the same peace and wonder that I do every time I’m here.

Welcome to my mountain home—I’m excited to help make your stay unforgettable!

Why they chose this property

Why I Chose This Property

This property holds a very special place in my heart. I chose it because it offers a unique opportunity to live in harmony with nature and honor the ancestral practices that once flourished here. Developing this land has been a labor of love—a journey that connects me deeply to the earth, the mountains, and the history that surrounds us.

Every day, I enjoy working on this land, whether it’s tending to the garden, caring for the native plants, or maintaining the trails that weave through the property. It’s not just about building a retreat; it’s about creating a sanctuary where guests can feel connected to the natural world, just as I do.

I dream of establishing a thriving orchard and vineyard here someday. These projects take time, patience, and a lot of hard work, but I’m committed to making that vision a reality. Watching something grow from a seedling into a fruitful harvest is incredibly rewarding, and I love sharing that process with my guests.

The land is rich with history, including Native American tree artifacts and natural landmarks that tell stories of those who came before us. Exploring these trails offers a chance to reflect on the deep connection between people and the environment—a connection I strive to nurture through sustainable and respectful stewardship.

Ultimately, this property is a reflection of my passion for outdoor adventure, gardening, and thoughtful living. I want every guest to experience the peace, beauty, and inspiration that this place has given me. Whether you’re here to hike, relax by the fire, or simply breathe in the mountain air, I hope you find your own connection to this special land.
