We were searching for a nice place to get away for the weekend and this posting came up. It was perfect for our budget and the location was amazing. When we got there we had a little trouble finding the drive however it was almost 1030pm our host answered our call prompt and helped us get in. The cabin was absolutely adorable and comfortable. We would definitely want to return to this amazing place.
Rustic, yet very comfy with all the amenities of home. Secluded location, surrounded by woods and an open meadow. The apple tree on the property brought in many deer including bucks which were so nice to see up close!! Enjoyed the fire pit (wood provided). We were very comfortable here and would rent again if traveling to this area! Very well kept and clean.
It was everything we were looking for. Very remote, meaning a lot of privacy, allowing us to enjoy the meadow in front of the house (deer), and a clear view of the night sky. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill, and all other amenities. She thought of EVERYTHING! I am a type 2 diabetic, and sure enough, the well- stocked kitchen included some Stevia for coffee. Thank you KimMarie!
If you are looking to get away from the hassle and noise of city and people stay here
This is a cute place to getaway from the hassle and noise of city and people. It is by the mountains and the night sky is so bright with stars. The house it self is clean and set up real nice. The gas grill works great and there is an awesome fire pit for sitting around at night. So quite and peaceful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to stay in the country to see the mountains and get some good rest and relaxing.
This was the perfect getaway and relaxation location. We spent a wonderful week here and didn't want to leave. Far enough from town we didn't hear much of anything but nature. Still close to a bunch of attractions like: the Corning Museum of Glass, The Rockwell Museum, the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania and star gazing at night. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be visiting again!
This cabin was so cozy and welcoming! More importantly it was SECLUDED and PRIVATE! With woods in the back and a field in the front there was no visible neighbors so it was literally just us! The attention to details was amazing so we had everything we needed to spend most of our time in the cabin relaxing!

My husband, Stan, and I have a farm in rural Mansfield, PA. We raise ducks, geese and chickens. We provide a home for 5 horses and 24 cats (we are not a rescue but tend to rescue quite a bit). We recently started hosting with VRBO to provide calm and restful places for guests to spend some time in the country. Stan can be talked into leading some gravel bike rides, hikes and other adventures as requested. We have a very active lifestyle and there is always something new and exciting going on with us.
