Wonderful property in the woods!
We really enjoyed our stay in Monteagle. The house is so cozy and comfortable - we had a wonderful time! Loved seeing the deer just a few yards away from the back deck. It was so quiet, especially at night. The only issue I had was the TV sign-in, but the host called to walk me through it, which I really appreciated. Thanks for a great stay at a lovely property!

Thanksgiving Weekend
Lovely large cabin in our favorite area to rent houses. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. We had no problem putting together a holiday dinner. We have stayed in this area before and know and know how the falling leaves accumulate. The leaves had been recently blown down to the moss covered ground.

Cozy peaceful retreat
We loved our stay at Clifftops. I'm a Sewanee alum and took my husband and kids for their first visit to the domain. My brother, sis-in-law and niece joined us (as well as my parents, who camped 20 min away). This place was just perfect for the 7 of us plus 2 dinner guests. It has everything we needed for our visit. My favorite part was undoubtedly the outside entertainment spaces, including the firepit as well as the front porch. I spent many hours reading out there when we weren't touring Sewanee and Chattanooga. The hosts were easy to reach and logistics were simple. Thank you! Would love to stay here again.

Dream Cabin on The Domain
My husband and I stayed in this cabin while on a visit to see our daughter at Sewanee. It would be wonderful if I could write such a review as to paint a perfect picture of this home. It’s a feeling of wonder and excitement driving down the long driveway, tires crunching on the leaves , reminiscent of a childhood memory at Grandma’s house. At least it’s what was on my mind. There’s a true front porch reaching across the front of the house, complete with rocking chairs, and a chance to enjoy the outdoors, The smoky scent of a wood burning fireplace wafts across from neighboring homes. This home is perfect down to the smallest detail. The layout is family friendly with two charming bedrooms and a bath situated so that the primary bedroom offers a bit of distance from other guests. One highlight of the home is the well placed step down den just off the kitchen,. Rustic with unique stone flooring, and windows subtly letting the light in. Comfortable furniture and a giant television make this a special place to relax with that bestselling novel you’ve been waiting to read. Kitchen is well equipped for any type of cooking you may want. Home is immaculate, well loved, and speaks volumes about the great family who makes this house a home. This is a traveler’s dream home. Supplies you’re encouraged to use make it simple to complete everyday tasks without a trek to the store. Plush mattresses , bedding , and all linens soft, clean, and ready to use. Home feels safe and secure, so we felt that way ourselves. I hope this review has helped you make a decision on a wonderful place to be.
