"Rebel Base" in the Heart of Fayetteville

Summary:

Regroup at the "Rebel Base" in the heart of Fayettevile, West Virginia's "Coolest Small Town". This 2 bedroom, 1 bath house has a tasteful and fun Star Wars theme that will welcome you in after a day of exploring the New River Gorge National Park. The "Rebel Base" is strategically located on a quiet street but less than a five minute walk from Downtown. The base was fully remodeled in 2022 with hosting in mind and feels modern and functional. This is the nicest small vacation rental in town!

The Rebel Base is in a quiet residential neighborhood next to Downtown. Our neighbors are friendly and polite - please wave or say hello when you see them! When we're in town, we like to start our Saturdays with a stroll over to Wood Iron Eatery or Cathedral Cafe for coffee and breakfast.



Getting Around:

The Rebel Base is on a very narrow street and the town strictly enforces their policy of no on-street parking for vacation rentals. Please help us comply with the policy and respect our neighbors by only parking in the driveway. The driveway only has room for two vehicles, so if you need to bring more than two cars on your trip, this is not the place for you.

You're a short, safe walk to the shops and restaurants in Downtown Fayetteville.

Great location that's walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. House was clean and had all basic supplies (towels, soap, coffee, etc) and some extras (washer and dryer, detergent, USB charge towers, extra blankets). I had a small 9' motorcycle trailer that fit in the driveway next to the truck. Larger trailers won't fit so this isn't the place to bring a SXS or similar trailer.

Very nicely done and spotlessly clean two bedroom house and the decorative theme is a bonus if you love Star Wars. Great location for walking about Fayetteville. A short walk to Pies and Pints for yummy pizza and great beer. Proximity to New River Gorge is a plus. Kitchen is nicely remodeled and well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

The Star Wars themed property is a galactic gem! Cleaner than a polished R2-D2. The location was perfect—close to local hotspots yet serene like Endor’s moon. Amenities were top-notch, and the host was as responsive as C-3PO. A true rebel base for our vacation—we will certainly be back.

We booked with short notice and were completely satisfied. The home was very tidy and our host was accommodating. We didn’t need much but it met all of needs. Nate's place was fun and funky, fully delivering on the promised Star Wars theme! It was also perfectly located, so we could drive to trailheads in <10 minutes and walk into town for dinner.
