This was the perfect place for a wonderful weekend stay ... especially for Bridge Day! It's close to restaurants and shops, as well as the New River Gorge National Park. My host was wonderful about communicating and very understanding about my need for a late check in! I highly recommend Emerald Cottage if you need a lovely place to stay when you visit Southern WV. It has everything you need!

Very cute and comfortable house. Two bedroom with a full size kitchen. We were only 6 minutes from Adventures on the Gorge and 4 minutes from the Bridge Walk.

Such a charming place in a great location! The home was cozy, welcoming, and clearly very thoughtfully put together. What really stood out were all of the small details throughout the home that made our stay so easy and comfortable. Everything we could possibly need seemed to be right where we needed it, and you could tell the hosts had really thought about the guest experience. Those little touches made such a difference and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

Comfortable bedsVery charming and cozy little cottage with a lovely well stocked coffee tea hot cocoa bar with a Keurig an pods all different kinds regular or decaf or regular coffee pot with filters an 8 o’clock coffee grounds lots of added touch put into this house throw blankets everywhere living room and bedrooms neatly in a decorative basket plenty of towels for your use and convenient to everything. Games to play plenty of brochures of things to check out!I could just keep going but I won’t go check it out you won’t regret it! Oh and a very friendly owner who is very pleasant and is always easy to get ahold and in contact to make sure everything with your stay is ok !!!

We had a perfect stay at this cute cottage that could not have been more conveniently located. Less than 5 min to Canyon Rim VC @ New River Gorge NP, hiking and rafting and so close to lots of yummy restaurants in Fayetteville. It was well equipped, clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Checking and check out was a breeze. Wish we had more time, and can definitely say we will be back!
