This was the perfect place to stay while we found an apartment for our child who's starting at Chico in the fall. Easy access to everything and a great little place to relax and unwind at the end of each day.
We really enjoyed staying at this cute little place in Chico. It is as nice as the photos indicate. Walkable to a breakfast place and the natural foods store right around the corner.
This sweet space was a dream come true for a personal retreat that was convenient, simple and soothing. The rooms, the furnishings and communications with the host were all delightful.
Cute Chico house. Easy check in and check out. Host was very quick to respond to questions. Loved the binder of restaurants and basket of games to play!
My son was previewing Chico State for the weekend and this adorable bungalow was just what we needed. Cute, clean, and a 12 minute walk to the college through the picturesque Main St. adorable shops and restaurants everywhere!
If my son picks Chico, it may become my regular place to stay!
Nice small cozy place close to downtown. Very clean and has what we needed. No contact check in. Very comfortable pillows. Wish we had more time to use the bikes around town.
Our stay was wonderful. The house was exactly like pictures, very clean and updated. The bikes were an awesome amenity. My only downside was the busy street with kids but the back yard was a great place to hang out. Very well stocked with things you may need.
Communication with the host was fantastic!
Check-in process was extremely satisfying and EASY. From the pictures for the property, our expectations matched what we wanted and more. Everything was top notch clean and organized! Amazing location and easy access to a great area. I gotta say, properties like this are hard to find. Definitely worth the stay!!!
Comfortable place to stay. Girlfriends and I rented this place to decorate for a baby shower at a location in Biggs CA. It worked out beautifully. So close to downtown and the menu recommendations were awesome to review the menu and decide our meal plans. The only downside was no coffee pot for regular coffee. They had a pod coffee pot.
We loved our stay at this property in Chico! Walking distance to everything but our favorites to highlight are going Schubert’s and the farmer’s market.
Parking was plentiful on the street side.
The space was very clean. Each room had ceiling fans and air conditioning units.
Thank you Deserae for being a wonderful host! We would love to stay here again the next time we visit.
The owners thought of every detail. As someone who has stayed in many VRBO’s and AirB&Bs, small things like coffee pods, spices, and shower supplies can make a trip so much more enjoyable. It was really nice not to have to run to the store! We were in town for our sons graduation from the Fish & Wildlife academy. The location was perfect for his graduation events, and downtown eateries.
Our stay was fabulous! The house is centrally located to a variety of activities - downtown farmer's market/street fair, fun restaurants, Chico State University, Bidwell Park, etc. The street in front of the house was very busy, and the narrow driveway was a bit challenging, but this didn't lessen the fun we had. The hosts were very receptive and quick to respond to questions and requests. Very helpful and courteous. Overall, a great time!
Loved this cute bungalow home. Thought it would be noisy as it is on a little bit busy street but it was quiet and cozy inside. We walked to town for great food and drinks- host left great neighborhood details and recommendations. Close also to great bike trails and the college. Super clean and well appointed. Only two small things-couch is not comfy and the house is slanty. Kind of adds to the charm but is a little disorienting. Host was supper accommodating. Great stay overall.

We are a husband and wife team who likes to get our hands dirty. We love to work hard and play even harder. We met in Jackson Hole Wyoming where my husband was a whitewater raft guide from the East Coast. He followed me to NorCal and quickly fell in love with Chico Ca. So here we are, working, having adventures and raising 2 beautiful girls. We have always loved to travel and would much rather stay in an VRBO than a hotel. We can’t wait to share all the many things we love about Chico with all of our guests.
