It was perfect for our short stay. Cozy cabin just off the road, but overall pretty peaceful. It has a nice spot to sit by the fire and look at the stars while the nightlife comes out. Also very close to Salmon River Falls.
Great little cottage in the woods. Very clean and cozy. Owner was very responsive and super helpful. The porch is lovely and wish we had more time to enjoy it longer. Next time!
This is a very nice property and is comfortable, secluded, and not too far away from amenities. We four fishermen were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return!
A nice middle of the road cabin, not too rustic but just enough to make it feel like your in a cabin in the woods, which is a good thing to get away for a while. Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook on grill and enjoy the fire pit. Enjoyed reading and coffee on the deck. Overall a good experience.
We enjoyed our stay in the cabin! It was very peaceful there, and the beds were very comfortable, nice clean sheets and towels were provided for us. Thanks!

Thank you Sara I’m so glad you enjoyed the cabin! Hope you had a great trip!
Would like to post photos of how dirty this place was. The refrigerator, stove, waste baskets appeared not to have been cleaned in some time. I understand this is a “rustic” cabin, but there is a big difference between rustic and charging a cleaning fee for this. If there are photos available for prospective clients to look at, make sure you pay attention to the sleeping options. The first floor bedroom will accommodate two people but one needs to climb over your bedmate to get out of bed. The second floor loft consists of some odds and ends single beds. That said, the cabin is near the beautiful Salmon River Falls and in a quiet area, so if you’re looking for a place to stay while fishing it may be fine.

Hi Mary … I’m sorry that the cabin was not what you were looking for, however I think if you read the description and view the pictures of the beds, loft etc you’ll find it accurately describes (in detail) the beds, bedrooms and shows the layout of the sleeping arrangements. Additionally, it also specifically notes that there is no WiFi or TV service, the TV has a DVD player and hdmi to play movies only. Since this was the only item you communicated to me during your stay, I have to assume the rest of your review and disappointment stems from not reading the full description before choosing a house to suit your needs. The pictures are 100% accurate and I am more than happy and available to answer any questions ahead of or during your stay.
Needed a place to stay for the night before a charter in Henderson. Worth the extra 50$ vs a hotel in Watertown. Richland had a good dive bar, we’ll be back!
