Bali Temple is an amazing property. I was so happy that I booked the second floor. We would sit out on the porch in the afternoon and look at the ocean past the lava rock. It was so pretty there that we stayed on the property for the full two days. It was the perfect place to relax after hiking in the National park. Full kitchen, large living room and dining room, large bathroom. Everything was clean. If you are traveling with a large group there is a downstairs apartment and an apartment behind that you can book.

This home is as wonderful in person as you hope it would be. Absolutely beautiful, and a stunning setting. Had a bit of a maintenance issue upon arrival, but communication was excellent and was resolved quickly. This was paradise for a few days. Bring your groceries upon arrival. It's not super far to a store, but once you arrive, you don't want to have to make a grocery run on arrival night. A short walk to the ocean front over a lava field is otherworldly!

Wow! Wow! Wow!!! This place is just as amazing, if not more, than the pictures you see here. This was an INCREDIBLE rental! We only stayed 2 nights but if I lived in Hawaii this is exactly where I would want to be. Loved the short walk to the ocean over lava rock to take in the incredible views up and down the shoreline. The unit was very clean, mattress was very comfy (a little bit of a climb to get into the bed), bed and bath linens were superb especially the bath towels!! Check in and out were very simple. I would absolutely stay here again. It was peaceful, relaxing, gorgeous.....we felt like we were in a movie! High class for sure. I have never stayed in a short-stay that even came CLOSE to the experience we had while we were here!Seperate note for future guests that is not related to the rental: I wouldn't count on door dash in this area.

Amazing property away from it all. The view, the accommodation, just being there was a wonderful and unique experience. We loved the views from the balcony and walk across the lava field and hang out at the beach. Wild and peaceful at the same time.

The apartment is gorgeous and the view was amazing. It was also pristine and very well maintained inside and out. The host was responsive.

My husband & I would definitely come back! While the property was somewhat difficult to locate for the first time as GPS does not accurately pinpoint the address, the host (Rachaelle) did warn us ahead of time and provided helpful instructions to find the property. She also went above and beyond providing information regarding nearby beaches, shops, and farmer’s markets! The lava rock behind the house is something you don’t want to miss checking out- it is absolutely stunning and you can walk right across it to look out over the ocean. We were very happy with our stay!

This was an amazing place. Even more beautiful in person, both inside as well as the views. So comfortable and relaxing. Our last day, we hiked out to the ocean and on down the lava flows behind the house. It was gorgeous and one of our favorites of all the things we did on our vacation.

Short get away

It was a great property to stay on. The house was perfect and loved the vibes and artwork. The only downside/complaint is the downstairs guests slamming their doors all night and early morning.

Overall, the room was a pleasant stay for us—quiet and with great views. When we checked out, I accidentally left my AirPods in the room, and the host kindly promised to mail them back. However, after the stay, I contacted the host multiple times over the past month and also asked Expedia to help follow up regarding the return of the AirPods, but I have not received any response. I’m leaving this review in hopes of getting an update on their return.
