The 1920’s farmhouse has been has all the charm you want plus the modern conveniences and light and bright home styling you love.

Mathews County has 214 miles of shoreline - more than any county on the Chesapeake Bay. With rich local history, two historic lighthouses, several natural beaches, excellent local restaurants, and a really helpful visitor center. Exceptional fishing off the private dock, and room for extra guests to camp on this private lot.

Tranquil property with beautiful water views

Loved our stay here at this peaceful and quiet property. We spent most of our time in the back room that has large windows overlooking the water, watching for eagles, egrets, cormorants, ducks, and gulls go about their daily business. On warmer, sunnier days, we spent time in the secluded yard taking in the wildlife or venturing down the dock to take in the lapping sounds of the water. The house itself has the charm of an older house with modern conveniences. Altogether, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.
