About this property

Newly rebuilt farmhouse right on Long Arm Dam in Hanover. Conveniently located between Gettysburg and all the Civil War attractions, York and Baltimore. Boating, paddle boarding and fishing are allowed at the Dam (with license).

Spacious, open-concept first floor allows gathering in the Living Room with flat-screen TV and gas fireplace, as well as cooking in the well-stocked kitchen and dining nook. There is also a half-bath on the first floor. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom with tub and shower. This charming farmhouse offers WiFi, Streaming TV and AC. Small deck outside the back door to view the beautiful Dam and country surroundings.

Bed linens, pillows, blankets and bath towels are provided.

Bedroom #1 has one Queen bed. Bedroom #2 has one Full bed, and Bedroom #3 has 2 Twin beds. Sleeps 6 maximum.

Country Goodness

This home is everything one could hope for in a country retreat. It has the quiet serenity of a country house, while being close enough for day trips to Baltimore, Washington, and even Philadelphia. The home comes equipped with everything one needs, and extras if you run out. Clean does not begin to describe this house, It is immaculate; with new amenities, a responsive heating and cooling system, and a security system. It’s well appointed with comfortable furnishings, beautiful flooring, and warm rugs under your feet. Outside, you are surrounded by rolling hills. The home is set back from the intersection of two quiet country roads that offer a quick ride to downtown Hanover or an amazing park and playground. We stayed with our two and four year old sons. Though not child proof, we felt very comfortable with the boys playing and exploring the home. There were no hazards that presented concern. This was our second stay at the property, and won’t be our last. Jennifer is quick to communicate and work with any issue that may arise. We will be back soon.

This place is gorgeous, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. gorgeous views, very clean, plenty of space for our family of 5. Great communication and location. We will be back!
