Our colorful getaway is designed for the ultimate experience in quietude(on 10 ac)+privacy+direct access to trails.
Minutes from Mesa Verde Park entrance, you'll be perfectly positioned to explore the secrets + adventures of Mesa Verde Country.
With a well appointed kitchen featuring a Kitchenaid dual fuel range, make a meal to remember, or grill while taking in the Laplata Mountains + Mancos Valley.
Dark skies provide the best star gazing from the outdoor hottub+an evening around the campfire (please check local burn regulations, burn bans may be in place).

The space
Our place is decorated with funky southwest colors, interesting art + functional furnishings. This is a place for making memories.
Hottub towels are located in the basket by the back door. Robes are in the closet or laid out for you.
The office boasts a vintage cabinet with local wares available for purchase, novels for rainy days, and a large desk for those who work from home. The internet can be upgraded to high speed for those who request it. Otherwise, it's just great for streaming movies on Roku.
We support local, regenerative, organic farming + manufacturing practices whenever we can + offer an organic queen mattress, a colorado made king + organic eoko tex pillows + sheets for the best imaginable night sleep.
USA grown + manufactured Redland Cotton towels + Colorado made organic body soap, conditioner + shampoo supply our walk-in shower, large soak tub + tub+shower combo.
Last but not least, enjoy fresh ground coffee beans in your morning pour over!

This place was so cozy and comfortable. Snow everywhere and it was just magical . Great beds and a great kitchen. The host Shelly checked in on us and was there for any questions we had. Would love to come back and stay longer.

I traveled extensively for my work as a critical care RN. Now I travel for pleasure with my wonderful husband Adam + daughters EvyLu + Calliope. We ride horses when we can + are working on regenerating our land using rotational grazing. I'm passionate about spreading the word: we can stop desertification + climate change by supporting our local farmers who use regenerative practices to capture carbon + return it to the ground. All while making the most nutrient dense foods available. Let me know if you'd like to try local meats + produce during your stay.
