Ocean View Beach House in the Sand Dunes on Monterey Bay

This ocean view beach house is located in the sand dunes on Monterey Bay with a full view of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Pajaro Valley on the other. There are decks on both sides of the house. A short trail (no road to cross) leads to the miles of sandy beach. The house is inside the Pajaro Dunes gated community with 24 hour security and common area walking/biking trails, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball court. The house is fully furnished with a complete kitchen, linens and towels and all the latest board games to enjoy in front of the gas fireplace. The kids can play without worry of cars inside Pajaro Dunes Community (no roads are between the house & the beach) Unfortunately, the Pajaro Dunes Community does not permit any guest pets.

The house location is in the center of Monterey Bay between Carmel/Monterey and Santa Cruz. San Francisco is 100 miles to the north; San Jose/Silicon Valley is less than an hour away. The closest golf is 5 minutes away and the famous courses in Monterey are less than 30 minutes away. Monterey aquarium and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk are within 1/2 hour drive. World renowned bird watching and kayaking at Elkhorn Slough is 10 minutes away in Moss Landing.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our friend's birthday. The house was perfect for cooking together and lounging in the living room and on the deck. The proximity to the beach was the best - just steps away for miles of beach walking. The house was clean and well appointed, and the bedrooms were comfortable. We hope to be back!

I think this house is the best deal in all of Pajaro Dunes! It was spotless, well appointed, and the bathrooms have been updated, which is really nice in an older beach home. The beds were comfortable and had nice bedding. And the best part is that it has views of the farms on one side and the ocean on the other. I can’t think the owners enough!

Lovely beach getaway!

We have stayed at Pajaro a few times in the smaller 1-2BR condos, but this time we were two families with 3 kids total. This was perfect for a slightly larger group and the easy access large porch(es), and views were amazing.

Perfect set up and location. Our group of 5 adults appreciated the open living area with great ocean view and easy access to the beach. The house has plenty of seating, beds are comfortable, and the deck is nice space to relax.

Our stay at Pajaro Dunes Resort was truly memorable. The beachfront location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.
