This is a two bedroom, one bath, full kitchen cabin in a peaceful location. It is perfect for enjoying a quiet weekend getaway or an extended stay. Pigeon River State Forest is directly out your back door. Great location for hiking, hunting, and fishing. ORV trail access nearby. Optimal area for enjoying the beautiful color changes of fall. Only 2 miles from I-75 and gas station offering off road fuel 2 miles away. Tubing, kayaking or canoeing are a local favorite activities. 35 mins to Mackinaw or Petoskey. 20 mins to Gaylord. 15 mins to Indian River. Can’t wait to be your host at cabin in the woods!

The cabin was very clean and rustic, while modernly updated. Multiple beds made it convenient for the whole family to sleep comfortably. The back deck is the perfect place to drink your morning coffee. The location was private, but not too far from civilization.

Cabin in the woods was perfect

Great wooded lot in Wolverine with nice fire pit and cozy living space. While we were there we were able to visit Traverse City, Petoskey, Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, and Rogers City all in a reasonable distance drive. There’s a nice farm to table restaurant right up the road and it’s close to Gaylord and Indian River. Really nicely located for natural resources too. Highly recommended!

Stayed here over memorial day weekend the cabin was very clean quiet and cozy full kitchen charcoal grill and fire pit i would rate 10 out of 10 definitely one ill be staying staying at again

Perfect getaway

This property was a perfect weekend getaway spot. It was just enough outside of town, but still easy to find. Everything was clean, and the fire pit was even set up for the first fire! The king bed was super comfy, and with the black-out curtains provided me amazing sleep every night. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I based out of the house for day trips in the Northern Lower (Cheboygan, Mackinaw Island, Petosky, Charlevoix, Boyne Falls). Good central location for that and the house and property were great for that.

Easily accessible while still so private

Such a beautiful location! Sadly a mostly rainy weekend but the house was so spacious we were still able to enjoy board games and the kids could run around without bothering the others.

Peaceful retreat in the woods

I booked this house for a three day stay while participating in a trail riding event in the Wolverine area. Since we were away all day, our stay was limited to evenings only. It was neat and clean and worked well for our needs through the weekend.

Two thumbs up!

We had a great time, host went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Could use A/C, and be careful on a motorcycle - its on a gravel road, but I highly recommend.
