Place was great for our extended w/e getaway from Orange County. Just wanted a little cabin in the woods by the lake that was dog friendly, and got exactly that. Liked the Fairy Tale theme and attention to the details - the live edge molding, cabinet specialty hardware, fairy houses around the cabin, and trees with faces. Every time we went out, we found something new. The place is all set for making your own meals as well. Only thing I can’t compliment is the bed. Way too soft for my wife and I. Host was very easy to communicate with.

Thank you for staying with us, Timothy! We’re so glad you enjoyed the cabin, its little fairy tale details, and the dog friendly setting. We’re sorry the mattress felt too soft for you. The mattress firmness is actually adjustable, via mattress topper, and we would have been happy to make it firmer during your stay had we known. We encourage guests to reach out anytime something is affecting their comfort—we’re always happy to help when we can. Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback and for choosing our cabin for your getaway!

My fiancé and I just got engaged and we wanted a little getaway to get away from chaos of our busy schedules and just enjoy the silence .The Storybook Nook was that place for us ! Our dog especially loved it. We just spoke about wanting to book this place again and come back many more times for the books. Perfect little tucked away space :)
