There are no words to describe how perfect our stay was hosts, property and location. We are truly grateful for everything,it was by all means life changing. Would 100% recommend this place for anyone wanting a perfect getaway and we will definitely return .

Everything was perfect. Excellent communication from the hosts. The room was spacious and well appointed. The hosts were such a lovely couple and we enjoyed chatting with them! If I could give 10 stars I would! Beautiful property too! Can’t beat those views either! Can’t wait to stay again!

This spot was perfect for what my husband and I were looking for...quiet and near water. Barry was very friendly and helpful, giving tips about fishing from his dock. The room was spacious and had everything we needed in it. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet & peaceful location. If you want shops & excitement this is not for you. Host was on site to help with anything and he has good stories to share. The dock is a little steep but if I can do it anyone can. No kitchen, just a microwave, fridge & toaster oven so bring provisions. Nice space for 1 or 2 people

Hope you has a pleasant trip Ann. I enjoyed meeting you. I'd like to share some good news. I went out this afternoon and noticed a couple bumble bees flying around over the sidewalk. I looked down for our friend but found he had left. No sign of him. No one came here today so I believe he slept it off and flew away! Must have been a serious party the night before. Anyway have a nice trip home and enjoy the Colorado winter!

My 13yr old daughter and I had a wonderfully relaxing time here! She is not about being very busy, so this location was perfect for us. We ate out at a few restaurants nearby and shopped at a cute family owned thrift store around the corner. The owner Barry is very nice and had some great recommendations for things to do in the area. Spending time sitting by the water and watching the sun set was heavenly! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a location! The views, the deck, and the water access.

Loved the views and going for a swim in the Rappahanak. Very comfortable bed and room. The host is incredibly nice and the stay was relaxed and enjoyable.

Great Weekend Getaway

The property has a great view (particularly at sunset). The water is super accessible via the dock or beach. And the crofter cottage is perfect for two.

Wonderful and Quiet Getaway

The views from the little room overlooking the Rappahannock River was spectacular. I was able to enjoy the sun from the private beach—- and go swimming (!) on Columbus Day weekend! It was relaxation at its best!

It was just a quick getaway with my husband and the room and grounds were wonderful!The host couldn’t have been nicer, nor more accommodating! The bed was great, amenities plentiful, and the room was beautiful. The neighborhood as ideal for our power walk. And…..the view!!!! The seating area on the dock was our favorite place for morning coffee and nightcaps!!We will definitely be back!!
