Excellent proximity to Shenandoah NP. Clean and cozy. Host was easy to work and communicate with and made checking in and out very smooth and simple. It is at the end of a gravel road is isolated (which is what we wanted) so be prepared, you are off the beaten path but the house is perfect for chillin after a hike, watching the stars or planning your next adventure. We would definitely stay here again.

If you want to be near the Shenandoah National Park, this place is perfect. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. It looked exactly like the pictures. And as other guests have mentioned, the views from the backyard will be the highlight. Our host, Nick, went above and beyond. The grill broke and he had a new one there within an hour. He also blessed our family with some elk to cook on the grill! One recommendation would be to bring a bath mat for the showers because they can get slippery. But other than that, if you love the mountains, you’ll be happy with this house!

This place is great , the fire pit was awesome and the view is insane ! Had 2 beautiful sunsets !! We really enjoys hanging on the deck , jacuzzi was great and the kitchen was well stocked . Just to be helpful I would suggest better pillows for all the rooms , and there are alot of bulbs out for the outdoor lighting, and the filter for water in fridge needs to be changed . But other than that everything was amazing!!! I highly recommend staying there ! We got pizza from Ciros one night and it was delicious !

Beautiful House in the Mountains!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed house in Shenandoah. The house was clean and had every amenity we could have wanted. The backyard was huge and had a beautiful view of the sunset over the mountains. The host, Nicholas, was also extremely helpful when we needed help!

Mountain getaway

This was the perfect place to experience staying in the mountains for the first time. The house was perfect for our family…three siblings, two spouses, mother, and two grandchildren. Plenty of room and lots of great amenities. The property was in a gorgeous location with amazing views of the mountains. It was out of the way and close enough to breweries and fun touristy activities.

Renovated cabin in the woods

The place was amazing, lots of amenities, clean, amazing view of the mountin, and felt very comfortable. The owner was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to stay at the place again. The sunset overlooking the mountain around the campfire is a memory my wife and I will never forget.

Fabulous cabin in Elkton VA

We spent three fabulous days here in June/July 2024. The property itself is beautiful and in a spectacular setting. Communication with the owner was very smooth. The location is ideal for exploring the Shenandoah area and we enjoyed driving the Skyline Drive, a visit to Luray caverns and kayaking on the Shenandoah river. We came back in the evenings to eat out on the deck followed by relaxing in the hot tub and watching the spectacular sunsets. Very special memories made, totally recommended.

Amazing Experience

The home was clean, beautiful, and the views were incredible. The sunsets over the mountain (and the deer grazing) were beautiful from the hot tub. My ten year old daughter and I loved foraging for wild raspberries and blueberries in the back of the property. There is a trail off of the driveway that is a great walk on the edge of Shenandoah National Park. Close location to Massanetten and not far from Charlottesville and Madison County. Nick was an excellent host and helped to make our trip memorable. We will certainly be back!

We really enjoyed our time at Stoney Creek! The house is very private and peaceful with phenomenal views and sunsets! The home itself it very clean and comfortable. There is a lot of space inside and a great, big yard for the kids and dog to play!Close to Shenandoah NP and other great attractions like Luray caverns!! The owners were very easy to communicate with and answered all questions we had promptly. They went above and beyond when we were stranded with a car issue, for which we are extremely grateful for!!Highly recommend this house!

This home was just what we needed for some quiet and relaxation! It had everything that we needed, the jacuzzi worked great, and kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels and basics for our stay. The sunset view was beautiful! Communication with the owner was smooth and everything was just as stated. Well worth the booking if you are in the area!
