Disappointed
I rarely write negative reviews, but unfortunately I must do so here. The location is as advertised, about 100-200 yards from the Westin gondola. Reasonably convenient. The condo has been recently renovated. However, we found numerous things broken ... the dishwasher, the slide out garbage/recycling bins, the fan in the master bathroom (it would go on and off all night long), and most sadly the fireplace. The gas fireplace, somewhat concerningly, would come on and off without any rhyme or reason. We could not turn it on or off, it just had a mind of its own. We reached out multiple times to the property management company; sometimes we got a response, sometimes we didn't, but the problems were never fixed. Lastly, when i reached out at the end of our stay about some sort of financial accommodation for these issues, that email got no response at all. Which is disappointing and short-sided, as I've been coming to Beaver Creek every year since 2012. I can deal with problems at a property, stuff happens. I can deal with said issues if they are promptly addressed and client service is reasonable. Unfortunately, and speaking as someone who deals with clients all the time (I'm a lawyer), the client service and responsiveness was extremely lacking here. Since this company apparently manages the entire building, I can neither recommend this condo nor any property in this building.
