We had an awesome time at this cabin! It was clean and updated; had everything we needed. We especially loved the fire pit setup and hammock. Pet friendly and cozy cabin.
We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay. Garret was exceptionally accommodating and attentive throughout our visit, particularly in helping us make the most of both the outdoor and gas fire pit!! We greatly appreciated the relaxing atmosphere, which provided an excellent opportunity to unwind and recharge. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time!!
This place is fantastic, and Garrett was a thoughtful, friendly, and communicative host! The cabin was clean and well-equipped, and the layout and beds worked very well for a group of six friends (we had to make use of the futon in the closet). We gathered to honor a departed friend with a slideshow of photos, a grilled meal, and a hangout around the fire, as well as a hike at nearby Sheridan Lake. It was a perfect stay!
The log cabin was very charming. All the comforts of home. Enjoyed sitting on the patio furniture in the evenings. Plus the location so close to Hill City and Mt. Rushmore. Garrett reached out to us a couple of times making sure we enjoyed our stay. Well worth staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully restored cabin. It was so peaceful. We loved the outdoor fire pit and patio. This place has everything you want while you’re on vacation. It’s also very close to the local attractions and darling downtowns of Deadwood, Custer, Hill City, Keystone as well as Rapid City, State Parks, Monuments, Lakes and more. I also want to mention and thank our Hosts for being so responsive to questions and the property managers for being available and attentive to all the details. We would definitely stay here again and recommend you enjoy this property too. It’s truly awesome.
Great stay at Horse Creek Ranch and the historic log cabin. Super clean, with most anything you could want or need in a cabin rental. We weren’t able to use any more than 2 burners on the stove, but otherwise managed quite well! We loved the quiet and the opportunity to unplug and relax! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
We just loved this cabin we traveled out to the Hills for our granddaughter’s National Tumbling tournament not only was the cabin clean the area was beautiful we will definitely rent this cabin many more times thanks for everything
We rented the log cabin for a long weekend at the end of April and couldn't be happier. The cabin was in fantastic condition when we arrived. It was only my wife and I but with this setup could see how this could be a great family stay. The location, fireplace and fire pit is what drew us in. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was a relaxing place to hang and unwind. The wifi was solid and steady.Would definintly stay there again. Garret checked with us to make sure everything was in order and answered some questions we had about area. Loved our stay!
This old cabin was clean, cozy and perfect for our family! Bedroom and very large bathroom downstairs along with a living room with fireplace, a kitchen, and a dining room. Laundry as well.
Upstairs is another bedroom with a queen bed, this is just off the loft area which has a full bed and the cutest nook with a small bed perfect for our youngest child. Far enough off the road that you don’t even know it’s there.
We will definitely stay again.
