Despite there being a mix-up with getting the access code, the owners made tremendous effort to make things right, which we greatly appreciated. It's a lovely, quiet location with a wonderful back deck and clean interior. Loved having an office that allowed me to take care of some freelance work briefly while we were there.

Perfect Place to Stay

We were only here for one night, but it was very comfortable and spacious. My kids loved the fuse ball, ping pong and piano. The beds were large and comfortable. Overall, it was perfect for what we needed!

I filtered for an entire place, but this is actually a basement unit with people living above, which greatly affected privacy and noise. You can clearly hear upstairs activity, even toilet flushing, which defeats the purpose of a private rental.I booked this stay so I could cook, but there is no oven and no freezer (not disclosed). The small appliance area couldn’t handle more than two items at once without tripping power, so cooking wasn’t realistic. The coffee maker was dirty, and while the space looked tidy, everything was very dusty.Temperature control requires messaging the host since there’s no thermostat access. The listing also advertised laundry, but there’s only a laundromat nearby. The couch is not a four-seat reclining sofa as listed, and the beds were very firm and uncomfortable.Parking directions were unclear, the view is construction, and the “kids area” mentioned doesn’t exist. A camera on the porch and blocked stairs added to an uncomfortable, monitored feeling.Hosts were responsive, but the space lacks the privacy, amenities, and accuracy advertised. If I had known, I would have booked a hotel instead.

Our stay in Bothell

Very roomy downstairs unit. Was clean and comfortable. Back patio and deck nice place to sit , relax and enjoy the cool breeze. Our host was very nice and in touch with us easily. Would stay again if traveling through the area again.

Spacious and Private

The photos do not do this place justice, its a converted basement area and sooooo nice. When we first walked, we were astonished of how large and clean the space felt. The check in process was seemless, but it is a bit odd to get down to the door. . There were a couple of spots on the shower that needed to be betyer cleaned, but overall very good and the host waa very responsive.

Nice place

The place is a daylight basement apartment in a quite neighborhood. The Host was extremely responisve. There are 2 things to be aware of. There is no thermostat downstairs. May not normally a problem, but it was unusually cold for Seattle and rto cold to sit when we got there, so we turned on he fireplace and the space heater, and the owners turned on the upstairs heat, which also serciced the appt, as well. However, it still took a while to heat up.The other was that the king bed in the bedroom was up againt the wall. Given there was lots of room on the other side it was strange, but perhaps most of the guest are individual business folks..

Easy check-in, some quirks

I had a decent stay for 5 nights at this property. Check-in was easy, and the host was able to accommodate an hour early check-in. Getting in was simple, as there's parking in the driveway and a separate entrance around a back gravel path. The basement unit was spacious, clean, and the shower was nice. The outside patio was covered and great for some fresh air through the day as I was working remote. The bed was comfortable and there was lot of space for clothes and luggage. The living room is spacious with a large TV, but there is a ping-pong table in between the seating area and the TV, meaning you either have to sit on the floor to watch TV or move chairs in front of the TV to watch. The layout is odd. There was also a noisy fish tank right next to the TV that was distracting and was so loud it could even be heard at night while sleeping in the bedroom next door. The house unfortunately carries a lot of noise from the floor above as the family lives above, and it was quite loud until the late evening. Also - the kitchenette had plates/glasses but no utensils, which was a bummer. Overall, it was a solid stay in a pinch and suited my needs.
