Perfect base for Seattle

We are very new to VRBO but it’s hard to imagine a better experience. Communication was great and description was completely accurate. Really good location and the kids were up bright and early enjoying all the yard games. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay

Overall stay was good. My family and I enjoyed the property. Only thing I’d say is that the backyard is towards an alley and it wasn’t appealing but felt safe. Communication with the owners was amazing. I also enjoyed that the owners provided their own app listing things around the neighborhood and other essential information.

Graduation getaway

We had a great time. The description is accurate, bathrooms and kitchen updated. Kitchen well appointed. The bus stop is right by the house making it really convenient to leave the car parked and use the excellent bathroom s system.

Nice Quiet Place

The rear driveway was not fun with a rental van. The worst thing was not getting the code to the door until almost check in time. Made us a little worried if we truly had a place to stay. Overall it was a good place and they were very nice. I would stay there again if I come back to Seattle.

Far From Outdoor Oasis

This property fell short of my expectations in several ways. I think it definitely could use some maintenance and could be cleaner. The pictures on the VRBO website are deceiving, especially the back yard. It could use some attention badly. A clean well kept back yard would have been more welcoming. It was nothing like pictures. It was very dirty, overgrown and run down. At the very minimum hose down the patio and sitting areas, play house and lawn games. Make sure that the cushions for the furniture are clean and all there to accommodate guests. The other thing to take note of is that there are a lot of stairs and they are very narrow. If I had known these things I would not have chosen this property. On the positive side check in and check out was very easy.

Norma, Thank you for the feedback and we are really sorry the property did not meet your expectations and always want to exceed our guests expectations during our stay. Based on your feedback for Summer 2024, we have made updates to the backyard and updated the pictures of the backyard to more accurately reflect the property. We hope this will reduce any confusion over the backyard. In addition, we have updated cushions and lawn games on the property. One item to note for future guests - due to the amount of rain most of the year in Seattle most houses (including our own) do not have sprinklers. Seattle has many rain-less days during the summer (why everyone visits!), thus the grass turns brown due to no rain or sprinklers. This is similar to many of the parks within Seattle which will also have brown grass. We wanted to ensure our guests are aware to align with expectations that the grass may be brown during the summer visit. Thanks - Marc & Shelly

It’s a wonderful home with lots to do inside and out. Great for kids. Fantastic location. Host is very supportive and helpful with arrival and departure and all things in between. We would return anytime.

Perfect Getaway!

We had a great time in Seattle. Check-in was easy, with plenty of space for a family of five. We loved the location; it was quiet and central to get around to other places. The home was clean, and the beds were super comfy. We would stay here again, and we highly recommend this for your next stay in Seattle.

Lovely home and neighborhood

We had an amazing time staying at Marc’s home. The house was clean and had all the things you need while traveling. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were nice, and the layout was perfect for having our child and her grandparents with us. Marc was great at communicating and also offered Halloween ideas for our daughter! We would definitely stay here again.
