We greatly enjoyed the quiet remote environment, pond and water play (on not in this cool fall weekend) ! Just what we were looking for on a peak fall weekend! Beautiful setting! Responsive and friendly host!
Cottage was very clean and neat. It was very helpful that it was pet friendly. Linda, the host, was very accessible. She checked in with us during the week. We did enjoy the lake view.
Great getaway from the city heat and bustle. Exactly what we were looking for perfect location in the Adirondacks, with the view and direct access to the lake. We swam, used paddle boards and enjoyed upstate New York weather. Linda and John are excellent hosts. The house, while a little worn out, is clean and very well stocked. Hummingbirds were a nice bonus :). We will be back.

I was so glad i got to meet you and your guests and had the opportunity to help attach the seat to one of the SUPs so that you could use it like an open kayak. That's my personal favorite. We look forward to your return!

Thank you so much Annette! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. I hope you decide to come back when you have more time to stay longer. I'm sure you realized that the cottage is a year-round home. There are so many things to do in this area, but my personal favorites are all right at the pond.
Our host was so sweet. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, quiet and peaceful. It was clean and well taken care of. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Thanks for that lovely review. Looking forward to your return!
A true Adirondack gem! This lakefront cottage is reminiscent of the classic Adirondack camps where my husband & his family spent their summers. Laid-back, rustic and peaceful. That is a whole vibe. The deck overlooks the pond, it has a child-safety gate so you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings without worrying your pet/child will wander off. There is a firepit and dock with shared canoe and other watercraft. Absolutely love that the residents of this lake community do not allow outside watercraft to protect the integrity of the ecosystem. We were lucky enough to stumble upon this perfectly situated cottage to spend our wedding anniversary. It is spacious, clean, and well-stocked with kitchen and bath essentials. Everything is labeled, easy to find and use.
This is a beautiful property on an idyllic lake which we enjoyed very much. Linda was a more than accommodating host and we enjoyed talking with her and learning about the property and the area. Great water activities, especially the paddle boarding and canoeing. Proximity to Lake George is a plus!

Some friends and I stayed in this lovely home on our way to see the eclipse and everything was wonderful; super responsive hosts, clear directions, a home that was perfectly ready for us. Bummer we only stayed the one night, would love to come back and stay longer!

We were actually feeling bad for you that you didn't gave longer to unwind here! Hope your view of the eclipse was amazing and that you return again!
What a beautiful, comfortable home in a wonderful and relaxing lakefront setting! We had two days of chartered fishing on Lake George out of Dunham’s Bay Marina. The location was ideal since we did not need to drive through Lake George Village or Queensbury when travelling to and from the marina. Everything about the house was perfect.

Thanks Ingrid. I was glad to see your family enjoying the pond when we stopped by. We'd love to host you and your family again.
We recently stayed at this lake home with our 2 boys & 2 dogs and we loved it!!! The home was really comfortable and clean & the hosts were very friendly. They really did think of everything when stocking the home! Everyone felt so comfortable & relaxed in the home. The view of the lake from the deck was really pretty & the area is quiet and peaceful. We were so grateful for the gated in deck-awesome feature when traveling with dogs (would be great if you’re traveling with small children too!) The outside was just as nice, very well kept. It was chilly when we visited, but we were still able to enjoy the water using the canoe, paddle boat & water boards the host provided. The water was pretty clear & I bet it’s great swimming in the summer! Overall, it was a great experience & exactly what we were hoping for!! Would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Thank you. It was wonderful to get to meet you both! We're so glad you enjoyed your visit and really hope you return.
Our short winter getaway to see the ice castles was very relaxing. The home at Copeland Pond was very comfortable & we & our 2 large dogs settled in nicely. It was private, very clean & everything was thoughtfully provided for from the necessities to the smallest of items, all with a personal touch. Very convenient location for all the amenities Lake George has to offer. The owners were very welcoming & accessible. It is a very scenic & peaceful lake & we would definitely recommend a stay there. 4 wheel drive vehicle recommended in winter as the road to the house was icy.

Good facility and very clean. Pond is quite nice, but no fish bites. Woods and overall property very nice. Grill is a good amenity. Kitchen is pretty well stocked in terms dinner & flatware, but lacking some pots and pans. Grill utensils are minimal and could be improved.

Thanks for your lovely review! I see that I need to move the grill utensils from where they hang in the laundry room to hang on the grill and add info to our manual that the pots and pans are in two places, both in the cabinet beside and in the drawer underneath the oven. I will do that now so that future guests hopefully aren't frustrated by that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. We look forward to your return visit!
