Considerable Concerns

My concerns are so formidable that I doubt I will ever use VRBO again.1.Reaching the host was a disaster, as was any attempted communication with any portion of VRBO2.On the first evening, my friend went out onto the deck and he tripped over a protruding section of the flooring brick. He injured his lower leg, which troubled him with pain and incredible swelling the entire time we were in Italy (June 3-19). He went to his U.S. doctor as soon as he arrived home and got a diagnosis. An X-ray revealed it was a bad high-ankle sprain that will take up to 6 mos. to heal.3.The shower of the main bathroom in the house did not work, as one wall of the shower was detached and water would have sprayed and flooded everywhere. We contacted the VRBO rep, and waited two days for a repairman.4.The shower and the sink in the 2nd bathroom flooded, and the repairman (we waited two days for his arrival) thought he fixed it, but instead both bathrooms flooded again.5.We waited until the night before leaving for the repairman to complete the job.6.I AM HOPING FOR A REFUND OR AT LEAST A SUBSTANTIAL REIMBURSEMENT.
Here is my friend's injured leg. The doctor advised 20 min. of compress 3x/day, and it can take up to 6 mos. to heal.

Appartamento sporco con una bella vista

Ho soggiornato presso l’appartamento ippocampo dal 27/06/2024 al 1/07/2024 luglio, sfortunatamente tralasciando la vista meravigliosa non ho commenti positivi. La pulizia era totalmente assente, pavimenti sporchi e bagno con ancora i capelli nella doccia dell’inquilina precedente. L’appartamento era ricco di umidità fortunatamente era presente un deumidificatore altrimenti sarebbe stato impossibile dormire. Non ci tornerei peccato perché è in una buona posizione e la vista è invidiabile ma la pulizia è fondamentale.

- Porte d’entrée vitrée ne ferme pas - Pas de prises de courant ni d’éclairage dans la cuisine - Pas de prise de courant pour brancher le micro ondes - Meuble bas cuisine en très mauvais état le tiroir se démonte - Carrelage à l’entrée de la salle de bains décollé - Paroie de douche ne tiens pas et de plus très très petite - Wc impraticable et l’abbatant mal fixé - Logement surchauffé mériterait une clim Par ailleurs l'emplacement et la vue sont conforme à nos attentes

La paroie de douche est neuve et a été installée au début de la saison, nous la vérifierons à nouveau au cas où. Nous vérifierons également l'état du tiroir, du carrelage, et de l'abattant des toilettes afin d'agir en conséquence. In-between hols

The property had no aircon which initially was a cause of concern. Eventually it turned out to be bliss as the property was ventilated during the night/day by having louvred front doors and an air shaft at the rear. Thus we had a continuous light draught of of fresh air. Wonderful

Bagno da dimenticare

La casa è in una bella posizione e ha un bell esterno. Dentro non è curata e soprattutto di due bagni non ce n è nemmeno uno decoroso. Entrambi i box doccia erano rotti e lo scarico otturato. Praticamente impossibile farsi le docce per l intera settimana. Lo trovo inaccettabile.

Un séjour agréable

Excellente situation et vue magnifique sont les principales caractéristiques de cet appartement. Celles-ci compensent largement quelques menus inconvénients comme l'exiguïté des cabines de douche et des chambres annexes.. L'environnement immédiat est vraiment splendide et la place de parking appréciable.

Plage et mer non accessibles à pied. Manque clim ou ventilateur. 2 salle de bains mais douches hyper petites. Vue magnifique, terrasse super agréable. Très beau quartier. Emportez des moutiquaires. Prix du ménage à régler en espèces conséquent selon le nombre de personne.

Uno stupendo panorama

L'appartamento, situato al piano terra con giardino, ha una stupenda terrazza che si affaccia sull'isola di Mortorio. Il giardino è curato e la casa è piccola ma accogliente, con 3 camere, 2 bagni, cucina e soggiorno in un unico ambiente. Gli occupanti della camera matrimoniale, attraversando un piccolo corridoio esterno, usufruiscono di un bagno personale. Un po' più piccole le altre due camere, ragion per cui sconsiglio di prenotare a gruppi di non oltre 4 persone, utilizzando la terza camera come guardaroba. Ancor meglio, come nel mio caso, per chi prenota per 2 persone. Qualora tornassimo a Porto Rotondo, prenoteremo di nuovo presso l'appartamento Ippocampo.
