This rental was for our family to stay in during our daughter's wedding weekend! It was a perfect house to come back to in between events. It has a comfy living room to gather in, amazing kitchen, great beds, lots of bathrooms, and a lovely outdoor area out behind the house. We had fires in the fire pit twice, in our five days there! It had Everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The place was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped the kitchen is a dream. The location is great as a base for excursions to Castine, Bucksport, Acadia, and Bar Harbor. Highly recommend!

This was a great spot with a great host! The house is amazing and it has been well stocked with so many extras. I highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to the area. This was by far one of the best short term stay locations I have stayed in! Minor issues were fixed in no time flat with constant communication. I will choose this location again if I am in the area.

Excellent Location

This was a great spot to stay! Away from the busyness of Bar Harbor but a quick ride to Acadia. Plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby. House was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. Everyone had their own room. All loved the big kitchen. Wish we got to use it more - next time!

Quality place & stay

Overall an incredibly beautiful home with lots of modern luxuries. Kitchen was huge and up to date on the appliances, bathrooms were also up to date. Bedrooms were comfortable and cozy. Loved the outdoor fire pit, spent a few nights out there and would highly recommend! Beds and pillows were great and a sight for sore eyes.

Our family of 7 had plenty of room to spread out here. This place is well-appointed in every aspect. Huge modern and furnished kitchen, large dining table, huge living room, separate quiet TV/reading area, spacious bedrooms and laundry. This place is very homey and has all the charm of a New England farmhouse. Relatively close to all the Maine coastal attractions and Acadia National Park. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great house for a family of 5. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need and the two and a half baths were clean. The outside deck and fire pit were relaxing and easily accessible. This house was close to Acadia, Fort Knox and convenient North Bay Market! The only complaint was the beds were a bit uncomfortable for some, but they are known to be picky with beds! Overall Greg was super responsive and a great host!

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Penobscot. The home was very well equipped, exceptionally clean, and conveniently located not far from Castine. It had plenty of TVs, a high-end kitchen with quality appliances, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and overall setup made it a great place to relax and enjoy the area.The only drawback was that the stairs going upstairs were quite steep and narrow, which may be something to keep in mind for guests with mobility concerns. Otherwise, it was a fantastic property and we enjoyed our stay.

The house was clean and spacious. All bedrooms are upstairs and laundry is in the main bedroom. We didn't use many of the amenities, but they were plentiful. The check-in/out process was smooth. Property was exactly as listed.
