Security cameras are located outside of the home covering the driveway, front deck and backyard. They are motion-triggered and record audio and video.

There is a gravel mountain road for the last mile leading up to the house, however, it is well-maintained and any size/type of car should be fine.

One of the beautiful things about the NC mountains is the wildlife. Don't be alarmed! While they tend to avoid people, it's important that you do not try feed them. All food and the grill must be put away or properly stored after use.

Our family had the best time! Quick trip up from Florida for a few days. The house was absolutely lovely. Well equipped for all guests. Beautiful views. A short 30 min drive to shops and phenomenal restaurants in Asheville. Definitely would return.

Perfect family getaway ❤

Our family from NC, Chicago and Mexico hadn't seen each other in almost 3 yrs due to covid. Our daughter hadn't met her niece yet as well so we wanted a spacious home to celebrate Christmas. It was large and light and airy with 2 full floors so the baby could nap while we were on another level not having to be quiet. Every amenity was available and we would love to return. It was a great experience!

Great getaway spot

I had never rented a vacation house before and was happy with how easy this was, from booking to check in. It was a really place, plenty of room for all 9 of us ( two 2 year olds and 7 adults). Quiet and peaceful. Only minor drawback is the road up there - it was a little more “rustic” than we expected.
