The Cabin is on 32 Mountainside acres, a wild and woodsy setting. Relax by the Fire Pit overlooking the Mountains! The cabin has everything you will need for a luxury stay on the Mountain! Tamworth is a lovely town to visit as well. Close to North Conway without all the traffic. Short ride to Lake Winnipesaukee as well. Residents Only Pass - to Bear Camp Pond & Lake Chocorua Included!

Perfect weekend in the mountains

The stay was overall amazing!! We really enjoyed the peaceful nature and the access to the surroundings towns close by. We would 100% be revisiting this property if given the chance. Zero complaints and the listing is very accurate. Sean was a great host and had quick communication, thank you!!

Family Trip

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything you need. The kitchen was well stocked which we appreciated since we did alot of cooking. The view and the surrounding area is gorgeous. We did day trips but enjoyed our time at the cabin and the area around our cabin the most. It was nice to have quiet place to come home to. Meredith is about 30mins away and I highly recommend going for food and shopping. Also the ride to Meredith is beautiful from the cabin. Thanks so much to the owners for everything!

Wonderful cabin in the woods

All the makings of a perfect vacation for us and our 2 active senior dogs. Clean, comfy and well equipped cabin nestled in woods with awesome mountain view and wonderful star gazing at night. Quiet and peaceful with a lot of forest to explore. The sauna was a deligtful added bonus that we enjoyed many times throughout our 10 day stay. Sean is a great host with excellent communication. Highly recommend and looking forward to renting again.

Been coming to the White Mountains Region for many years. Love it here - bought some land, set up a Cabin, made it nice (all the things we like!) and now we share it with others!

Why they chose this property

What to do during your stay? Depending on the Season....

Skiing! Cranmore and Attitash are nearby, and others as well, Downhill and Cross Country.

Snowmobiling! The trail head system is 1.5 Miles away, you can ride sleds from the cabin on the side of the road to the trail or park at the lot at the trail head. Maps are in the Cabin of the trail systems.

Hiking! You can hike our back country 31 acres or you can head to the many local trails and more within a short ride.

Well you can just relax at the Cabin, Grill and enjoy the views. The stars at night are fantastic in this low light pollution area!.

Outlet shopping is only 30 minutes away in North Conway.

The Squam Lake Region is also nearby – of “On Golden Pond” fame, about a 45 minute drive.

Or you can explore Tamworth: A wonderful little town nestled below the White Mountains and Chocorua Mountain. Every weekend in the summer and into the fall there is a Farmers Market where you can get vegetables, lunch and more.

The Barnstormers Theater is the oldest ongoing professional summer theater in the United States. It was founded in 1931 by Francis Cleveland, the son of twenty-second president Grover Cleveland.

Mount Chocorua, Lake Chocorua, Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm, Tamworth Distilling, Tamworth Lyceum (coffee house and more), Whipple Tree Winery, White Lake State Park etc. Plenty to explore if that is what you want to do.

The Appalacian Trail runs through nearby Wonalancet one of many trails in the area of you can head over and climb Mt. Chocorua.

King Pine Ski area is 20 minutes away as well. As well as Mt. Cranmore and Attitash within 40 minutes.

The Location: Tamworth, NH is at the base of the White Mountain National Forest. Centrally located you are within 40 minutes to North Conway for White Mountain Hiking, Skiing and more while 40 minutes south to Lake Winnipesaukee and the Lakes Region. An excellent centralized location to explore the White Mountains and the Lakes Region. Or just stay in town for many local amenities.... The Kancamangus highway is just 20 minutes away.

There are many trails for hiking, horses, mountain biking, hunting nearby. The views are wonderful of the Ossipee Mountains as well as Lake Ossipee. Plenty of wildlife in the immediate vicinity such as Moose, Deer and Bear and Turkeys!
