About this property

Dog Friendly, Quiet Neighborhood, Cozy lower level cabin

This little cabin has been constructed in the lower level of my log home. This cabin is fully equipped. It has a full kitchen with stove and refrigerator, a full bathroom with full shower, a bedroom with a queen size bed that includes all the bedding (linens, blankets and pillows). The living room has a recliner chair as well as a sleep sofa which can sleep two. The living room also has a TV with full cable. It has WiFi for your convenience (Password will be given once your stay has been secured). It has full heat for winter and cold AC for the summer. The kitchen has all complete cookware, glasses, coffee mugs, utensils, a coffee pot with coffee, powdered cream and sugar. You have your own private entrance. A lock box hangs to the left of the entry way with the cabin key in it. Once your getaway is confirmed you will be provided with the combination. This is an exceptionally quiet neighborhood. This is not a party house. It is not suitable for children. I am pet friendly for a number of reasons. I have traveled with my pets for 30 years and have always found it difficult to find pet friendly places. Most pets are considered family members and most pet owners enjoy traveling with their pets. This property is 1/2 mile off Kancamangus one of the most scenic roads in the US. There are countless hiking trails that range from very easy to very difficult very close by. Biking, canoeing, kayaking, skiing (X-country and alpine), horseback riding and golfing are just a few of the many activities close by. For those less enthusiastic about the great outdoors, the infamous "outlet shopping" stores are a short 10 minute drive. The Conway Scenic Railroad is a five minute drive. North Conway has numerous restaurants which is a short 10 minute drive. Darby Field Inn is a stones throw from the little cabin.

What a wonderful experience. The host was amazing and provided small gestures of hospitality- like our own slippers and a dog bed and bowls for our pup! Exceeded all expectations and was such a unique spot.

The property was welcoming and cozy. Very pet friendly. Plenty of room for a dog to run around. Marianne provided great communication and also plenty of info in the cabin if there were questions. Very close to N. Conway, NH. I only marked ski area question as a 3 as the survey would not let me skip it. I was not there to ski so I truly have zero knowledge on it.

Marianne and her dog Karma were lovely hosts - both incredibly kind and welcoming. The property is a gem with many extra touches (new cozy socks for indoor use! Earplugs! An array of different body washes and shampoos to choose from!) to make the stay extra special. The location is also superb: an easy drive to the shops and restaurants in North Conway and right off the Kangamagus with so much nature and hiking options at your fingertips! My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Immaculate Cozy Cabin

Lovely stay on the Kanc!

This was the perfect place to stay while showing my family around the White Mountains! The place was comfortable and had all the necessities we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and in a great location along the Kancamagus for getting to hikes or heading into town if we needed anything. Marianne was a fabulous host as well! I would happily stay here again.

Cozy but Plenty of Room

Just off the Kancamagus highway and close to Conway. Two of us stayed very comfortably and warm. Everything you need is provided and is spotless. Our second time here and will likely come again.

Quiet and comfortable

We stayed 2 nights and it was great. Had a slight slower water pressure but was taken care of quickly. Even though the host is above us, we heard nothing and your pup was excited for the open space.

Conveniently located right off the Kanc near the intersection of rt 16. Easy to get to the Conway area. Lovely view through the trees. Cozy and extremely clean! I love that it was pet friendly because we love traveling with our two Huskies. We enjoyed walking the dogs around the quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood and extremely well appointed supplies. There were even shower supplies for our use. Kitchen well outfitted except for scissors and tongs. Both would have been useful for us.

Great place if you have dogs

I absolutely loved my stay at the cozy cabin apartment! The charming ambiance and comfortable furnishings created the perfect retreat. The fact that it's dog-friendly was a huge plus, as my furry friends had a fantastic time too. The thoughtful amenities and serene surroundings made for a truly memorable getaway. Make sure if you bring dogs that they have leashes. There is no containment system or fence to get the dogs in but you can walk them on the property and the owner has plenty of bags to clean up waste.

Cozy, Quiet, and Just What We Needed

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend getaway, and it was perfect. The place was super clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for, quiet but still close to everything we needed. It was just the two of us (no pets), and we loved how relaxing it felt. A great spot to unwind, and we'd definitely stay again!

Lovely Stay

We had a great time! Very Cozy home, perfect for a weekend away in the mountains. Easy access to the center of town with lots to do in the area. The apartment was beautifully decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed and then some. Marianne was available for any questions and was very thoughtful. Great spot to venture out from to explore.

Christmas and Family

The interior of the cabin was clean, neat and had wonderful little touches that we enjoyed. Marianne could not have been nicer and responded to all questions in a timely fashion. Area was quiet and each morning we watched the sun on the snow capped mountains while enjoying our coffee. We look forward to staying again next year.

Not acceptable

Although the property was beautiful and well kept, my husband and I were not under the impression that the owner would be home also with her dog. There was nowhere in the listing that stated this and we were not informed until 2 days prior to our trip. We were there on our one year anniversary with our two dogs who are anxious around other dogs. We made the owner aware of this and still nothing was done. My dogs were growling and anxious the whole night stay because we were able to hear both the owner and the dog. We ended up leaving at 430 in the morning because we were so discouraged. If this information had been properly advertised with the listing we would have never booked it. I hope other people don’t find themselves in the same situation as us.

Très beau séjour !

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans cet hébergement bien decoré et proche des points d’attraits de la région. Le chauffage est difficile à répartir dans toutes les pièces mais sinon tout s’est très bien déroulé! Marianne est une hôte très précise.
