About this property

Cozy Cabin Getaway

You will find unbelievable sunset views and private lake frontage. Tall trees and a wonderful location makes scenic solitude the perfect getaway.

The cabin is a single story home which includes an intimate living room, 3 bedrooms, enclosed porch, kitchen and 1 bath.

The Living Room has 3 big windows that bring the outdoors in. The smart TV is equipped with free high speed internet, Roku: HBO Max, Disney Plus, Netflix, Sports, Prime Video etc.. The pellet stove is not available for use. The sofa is also a pull out sleeper. The 52 inch ceiling fan creates a comfortable environment.

Bedroom 1- Double bed and a dresser. Mattresses are new and offers cooling gel-infused memory foam. Ceiling fan, baseboard heater. 2 large windows overlooking the side property.

Bedroom 2- Double bed and a dresser. One window. Ceiling fan with light and baseboard heaters

Bedroom 3- Twin bed and dresser. 2 windows, ceiling fan with light, baseboard heater.

Kitchen- electric stove and oven, fridge with freezer, microwave, coffee pot/kcup combo, toaster, pots, pans, utensils, basic spices, garbage bags, soap, cleaning supplies, mugs, glasses, plates.

Water safety- No diving off shoreline or dock!!!!
The shoreline water is shallow and it drops into deeper water as you walk out past the dock. Swimming, fishing, floating are ideal.

Parking- There is NO on site parking. It is a shared driveway and we don't want to infringe on our neighbors. There is parking on the street (mountain side). Access the cabin by using our stairs, as not to disturb and crossing through our neighbors property.

The driveway is not for guest use.

*If you are bringing a boat, PLEASE LET US KNOW AT TIME OF BOOKING.

VERMONT FISHING LICENSE INFORMATION

All anglers aged 15 and older are required to have a fishing license in their possession at all times while fishing. Guest is solely responsible for any fines related to unlicensed fishing in Vermont. Homeowner is not accountable.

Please do not place more than 3 or 4 logs in the firepit. Also, of it is too windy, please refrain from having a fire.
The plumbing is septic. Do not flush ANYTHING (including "flushable wipes") other than toilet paper. Please do not pour grease down the kitchen drain.
Please respect our home and our neighbors. There is a leash ordinance. For safety, please refrain from having your dog off leash.

Cozy Cabin Vacation

Cozy Cabin provided our family the perfect getaway. The cottage is adorable and the outdoor space and lake view were wonderful. The swimming area is excellent and was the setting for most of our family fun. The host was great with communicating with us throughout the stay. It is a 5 star vacation.

Scenic Solitude is a gem….

Waking to a glorious sunrise is the best way to start the day. What a beautiful waterfront and location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at such a camp that was both scenic and solitude.

Weekend Paradise

My boyfriend, and our 2 dogs had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and cozy and we had everything we needed for our long weekend. Perfectly quiet and secluded spot on the lake. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect setting for the relaxing trip we needed. My husband fished, my dog played, and I rested and read in comfort by the beautiful scenery. Long weekend at the lake

We had a fantastic time at the beautiful lake house. Very clean, comfortable, and amazing view of the lake. We cooked most of our meals and we had everything we needed. Our 2 year old and our dog both enjoyed the property. We loved having a fire every night. We would definitely stay again, wish the property was ours!

Classic lake house

We were looking for a classic lake house vacation. This was great! It’s quiet, quaint, unpretentious…a very family vibe. Kitchen was well equipped. Outdoor space was superb. Water toys were available for our use. It was cozy, comfy & a perfect week of downtime. Very happy with our stay!

Great time

We enjoyed this stay very much! The outlay of the rooms was perfect. Absolutely loved the deck, its breeze, and soft chime. The spppearance of loons at the dock on morning one was a great omen. My wife had recently passed a few weeks before and I had not looked forward to this time but so many sitings and allthe nature including the lake and sky changes were a healing. J7st loved our time there. Thanks so much foJustharing! Would love another year.
