Explore miles of scenic hiking trails both inside and outside the community. In winter, venture to one of the nearby ski resorts to carve fresh powder on the slopes.

Back at home, you'll enjoy a cozy living space that provides ample space to unwind. Vaulted ceilings soar in the living area, where large windows invite in sunlight and tree-lined views. Bask in the glow of the wood-burning fireplace while you watch favorite TV shows or gather around the four-person table to play a board game. Perch at the kitchen bar while the chef in your group prepares recipes in the modern kitchen that features stainless steel appliances, including a double oven. When it's time to eat, share meals and conversation around the dining table that seats six. A spacious deck that runs the length of the home provides more room for alfresco dining amid the trees, while a side deck boasts a built-in gas grill for vacation cookouts. Enjoy post-barbecue lawn games in the afternoons and roasting marshmallows around the wood-burning firepit in the evenings.

Great house in great location....Has so much potential but still issues with the property managment
We overall enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a great location, great layout, and is well equipped. I received a text that the house was ready early. Upon arrival, it is a repeat of a previous review of wet towels and unclean. I called Vacasa and they responded quickly. I received a call from the local team and the place was cleaned by the 4pm check in time. Unfortunately, I called the local person 2 more times with no response. I reported the disposal was broken (no response). I also called because we had left medicine for a disabled person in a drawer that we needed to retrieve (no response). The property needs someone to do an inspection in order do repairs, a cleanliness check, and safety check. The jets were not working on the bathroom tub, disposal is broken, algae is accumulated on driveway which is a safety hazard. We slipped a couple times in the rain. Lawn needs maintenance. We do not mean to be critical because we like this property and will probably rent it again. Just hoping this brings some change. I would like to think that if you could increase your ratings, that you could rent it more often. It is a great house, great location with a lot to offer. It just needs some TLC.

This is large spacious house with a large deck. Had our our 8 & 4 year old grandkids over and they had plenty of room for their race cards and dolls. Each had their on twin bed and a bathroom. Many kitchen appliances, pans, dishes, etc.

Very disappointed in Vacasa
Vacasa did not meet our expectations. We struggled to get into the property- took several hours to hear back. Oven didn't work. House smelled like wet carpet. Woke up to a bat in the bedroom which required rabies shots for two of us. Sent letters to Vacasa North Carolina (letter was refused) and one to Vacasa LLC in Portland, OR. No response and it has been 6 months since our stay. Very disappointed in Vacasa's lack of communication. Finally decided to leave this message. VRBO should investigate Vacasa since they are negatively affected by their business.

Functional home but needs updating
The home was well equipped but it needs a lot of maintenance including plumbing upstairs, heating upstairs, all appliances except microwave, and furnishings. Beds and bedding not comfortable and there are big box speakers sitting in living room with no function. Fireplace has a blower but needs an extension cord to operate. Like I said, the home was well equipped but just lacks any ambiance due to outdated equipment and furnishings
