Such gracious hosts! The property is amazing, the animals on the farm are wonderful. The kids were able to feed the animals. Very relaxing time and equipped with anything you would need! Thank you! Hope we can do this next year!Susan and Mark
The house exceeded our expectations. I was the perfect size and location for our needs. The owners were so very attentive to our needs and my grandson throughly enjoyed the farm animals. It made his week. Highly recommended this property.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
The property was absolutely beautiful . The back yard was so relaxing, and in the evening, the dogs come out, they are adorable. The house is amazing, and was clean and nicely decorated. Gillian is very easy to communicate with. It was a lovely experience.
This was our second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The location is perfect for us since we have family nearby, making it an ideal home base for our visits. This time, we brought our 15-month-old non-shedding dog, Soc, along, and he was warmly welcomed by Gilly—as well as by Patchie and Tilly (most of the time!). Patchie and Soc would run and run all around the property. She has bird and humming bird feeders posted near the living room window so it makes a fun time to watch the birds. The house is comfortable, spacious, and perfect for families. It's also conveniently located near several wineries, making it a great spot for anyone interested in a wine tour. One of our favorite parts of the property is the beautiful backyard. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings with our tea and coffee, taking in the peaceful surroundings, and then returning in the evenings to relax with a glass of wine. It’s such a tranquil and inviting space. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay. We look forward to returning again!

This cottage is very homey and the hostess was very sweet. Lovely flowers everywhere and our stay was a true delight! We highly recommend this property!! We would have stayed the rest of the summer if we were able to!
What a lovely, comfortable home. Great location and very peaceful. The owners were attentive to our needs in every way and our communications were frequent and very helpful. Thanks Gillian for your 5 star hospitality! Can’t wait to stay again.

Thank you for visiting and for your kind comments. You and your friends were wonderful guests and we look forward to your next stay.
We had a fantastic stay. The home and property are exactly as stated. The location is great as it allows easy access to the hustle and bustle of Lodi and all of the surrounding wineries while providing a quiet, relaxing, restful place to come back to. This beautiful home has everything needed for a wonderful home away from home. I would highly recommend Gillian’s home to anyone and would definitely rebook if we come back to this area.

Thank you for your lovely review and for being such perfect guests. Hope you can come again soon!
What a wonder location with two of the most delightful hosts we’ve ever had. My kids feeding the chickens, talking to the sheep, and of course getting to know their wonderful dog Bear. The house was terrific and was a great place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine on the patio and enjoy that delta breeze. Thanks again, and we look forward to staying here again when we come back to visit family.
Communication with Gillian was smooth, prompt, and clear. The cottage and property were lovely and as described, except for the garden space which was divinely filled with hummingbirds and pollinators!
We loved our stay, and would certainly stay here again!
Had a very nice experience at this rental. Gillian and Brian were excellent hosts. We came out to visit wineries during the day and relax at night. The home was very clean and had nice appliances, coffee maker, dishes, glasses etc. They have 10 sheep, chickens and two fun dogs named Patchie and Tillie that were very playful. Nice patio to watch the evening subsets and many flowers to observe butterflies and hummingbirds.

Thank you for being the perfect guests! We so enjoyed meeting you and appreciated your thoughtfulness, care and wonderful review. Come back soon!
Had a great time for our short stay in Lodi. The property was better than listed. Beautifully kept with everything you could need. More than the property itself, the hosts were fantastic. Gillian couldn't do enough for us and Bear the dog was there to greet us. They always made sure we had what we needed but we're never intrusive. In fact the perfect hosts. Can't recommend this place enough, thanks Gillian, we all really hope we can come again

Thank you Matt. What a nice review. You and your family will always be welcome here! You were delightful guests!
Staying at this property was absolutely relaxing. We were greeted by Gillian's dogs who were always so happy to come get a scratch from us. Fresh eggs were provided on the first day which made for a yummy breakfast. The farmhouse is beautiful inside. It has all high end appliances. The kitchen is well equipped. I especially loved sitting out on the covered back porch enjoying the sunset.
Gillian was always quick to reply if we had a question. The location was perfect for us as it's near our family's ranch a mile away.
We will definitely stay there again when we come back out to visit our family.
We had a wonderful stay at the Orchard Guest Home. Our hosts, Brian and Gillian, are just the best!! Our grandchildren just had a blast with all the acreage. Being able to play baseball, soccer, and football in the back field. They had fun building a fort with all the timber around. The sheep, chickens, horses next door, and of course Bear the dog were all an added bonus. Inside the house was nicely furnished and room for all of us. Had everything you would need in a home. Gardens were beautifully done and enjoyable to watch all the birds. Nice patio area, grass area, and a fire pit. We would definitely come back to the Orchard Cottage.
What a wonderful location and setting! Our hosts Gillian and Brian greeted us as we arrived. We got to socialize with their big dog, Bear, the adorable new puppy, Patches, and the three pet lambs.
This is our second straight year staying here and it’s way better than hotel stays. The three large bedrooms with two bathrooms, full kitchen and comfortable living and dining rooms provide the comforts of home.
We cooked dinners in because of the rainy weather. Plenty of dishes, flatware, pots, pans and utensils. Dishwasher is helpful. Full-sized washer and dryer in the guest house.
Covered patio and yard area. Great place to stay and visit wineries. Restaurants, stores and shops are in nearby Lodi, Galt and Lockeford.
