This very private retreat, nestled on Chicagon Lake is perfect for a family reunion or group wanting an active and fun filled vacation. This property, incudes lake views and boat launch. Situated at the opposite end of the lake is Young’s 18 hole Championship Golf Course rated 4 stars by Golf Digest. After spending the day hiking, biking, or swimming, relax on the deck while enjoying your family time.

The Hill House is a beautiful home that has an open floor plan and updated kitchen. The primary bedroom has an updated en-suite bath and beautiful wooded views. Guests will be able to accommodate 10 people for dining. The second bedroom has a new King Casper bed.

The enclosed porch with lake views sleeps 4 with two twins and a queen. It also has a nice sitting area and foosball table for family entertainment. Two dining tables can accommodate 10 people.

My husband and I live half the year in California and the other half in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on an adjacent property. This property has been in our family for over 100 years and we are excited to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

This is the first time this property will be offered as a vacation rental. It’s a fantastic opportunity for anyone seeking a vacation property that is in a fantastic location with so many activities. Chicaugon Lake is great for boating, fishing and swimming. Its crystal clear waters are the jewel of the Upper Peninsula. Golf is close by, in fact, you can even drive your boat to the course. There are mountain biking trails and opportunities for ATV rides within a 20 min drive. The house is is immaculate and has been updated recently.

What makes this property unique

Our sister property named North Cliff Lodge can be rented as well which will accommodate another 8 people. North Cliff Lodge is situated on the lake, directly down the driveway from the Hill House.
