Fall colors in Autumn, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing in the winter, spring bloom and fishing in the spring, and of course all the joys of summer! Relaxation is always available here and in any season.

This is a newly renovated and landscaped luxury family retreat on 1.5 acres, that has the feel of a cabin in the woods with all the amenities of a much larger lake home. 1 Gig fiber optic internet access available throughout the property (even on the dock).

Imagine yourself enjoying the lake from the many different perches featured on this property. The cabin faces west. providing spectacular sunsets in any season.

This is a perfect getaway for three couples, two small families, or one larger family. Please no parties.

The main cabin provides tranquility in a tree house like setting. Lake views abound through the many windows. The highlight of the cabin is the four-season upper deck, accessible through bifold doors, that when fully open doubles the size of the living room and brings the lake into the cabin. The upper deck is equipped with push button retractable screens and vinyl panels. You have the choice of having the space open air, fully screened, fully enclosed with clear vinyl, or anywhere in between to block the wind or sun. Coupled with a ceiling fan and fireplace this space is usable in all weather conditions and temperatures. A ten-person dining table with 180 degree lake views and a comfy couch make this space a favorite hangout spot. A beautiful fieldstone fireplace is the anchor to this room.

A fully equipped open concept kitchen makes meal preparation a joy and not a task. The lake is fully viewable from the kitchen. A grill deck is located off the kitchen for BBQ time.

Enjoy two cabin style main floor bedrooms, one king and one queen that have a well-appointed cabin style shared full bath with heated floors.

The lower level is a favorite hangout for the kids. This level boasts an enormous couch, with a 75” inch tv, dart board, and bumper pool/poker table/ dining table combo. A ping pong table top is also provided. The tv is attached to a PS4 and many streaming platforms. All areas have an amazing view of the lake.

For the musicians in the group, please feel free to perform on the professional keyboard or take the provided guitar to the enormous lakeside fire pit for a sing along.

Also, on this level a king bedroom and luxury bath, featuring a double headed shower, double vanity and heated floors complete the space.

Another fieldstone fireplace ties the lower level together adding to the cabin in the woods feel.

The lower-level leads to another large deck overlooking the lake, accentuated by an infinity edge hot tub, and outdoor dining area.

This is where it truly gets fun in any season. The outdoor space has many levels of solitude, relaxation, and fun.

Off the lower deck find an enormous, shaded patio with outdoor dining for eight, a large outdoor sectional couch, that is accompanied by a small elevated fire pit.

Down a few steps a beautiful pergola awaits, providing shade for two well cushioned chaise lounge chairs. Attached to the pergola, a hammock is ready for an afternoon nap.

Down a few steps is the lakeside fire pit. Seating for 12, firewood and s’mores kit are provided. There are large sitting rocks everywhere to enjoy the lake, fire, or nature. A peaceful yoga/meditation/sunning pad is also on this level.

Down a few steps and you are standing on 115 feet of newly refreshed sand beach. The beach is large enough that at any point during the day, sun or shade can be found. Swimming, fishing, and boating await. On the water is a large swim raft that can easily be positioned anywhere in the swim area that you would like, dependent on your families’ swimming abilities. The swim raft is a great slip and slide!

A fully stocked boat house provides water toys, beach toys, life jackets, beach volleyball, Spikeball, Cornhole (bags), fishing poles, and snorkeling gear and inflatables for guests to enjoy. There are two chaise lounges on the beach as well as Adirondack chairs, providing ample lounging. Two single person kayaks, two standup paddle boards, and a two-person peddle boat are also available for guests to enjoy the lake.

The lake is fully recreational with 200 acres of clean, hazard free water. Bring your boat or jet skis to enjoy. Boat and jetski rental is available about two miles away. The lake is stocked with largemouth bass, perch, crappie, and northern Pike. Walleye are caught here but not stocked. Indian Lake is a very peaceful lake. Most weekdays you are likely to be the only one on it, other than a few fishermen. It gets a little busier on the weekends but is never crazy. Quiet bays and calm waters are the norm. We have found that the best fishing is right off the dock or beach.

The swim area is raked for weeds regularly. The first 10 feet is firm bottom (depending on water level), then transitions to soft bottom and then back to firm bottom near the raft. We have left a weed patch on the Northern most side of the beach to encourage good fishing throughout the year. Please use caution for snail shells and rocks. The depth at the end of the dock is about chest high for an adult.

Guests will have access to the lower garage which boasts two covered garage spaces, an attached 6 bed bunk house and fitness center, equipped with a weight machine.

Walleye fishing enthusiasts can find large lakes all around the area, with Sugar Lake less than a mile away.

Door dash is not an option here but there are many restaurants within 10 minutes. The closest being “up the creek bar and grill” a short four-minute drive away.

In the winter months, ice fishing is fantastic on the lake as the many fish houses indicate. Snowmobile trails, snowshoeing, and sledding can be done right from the property. Powder Ridge ski resort is a short 20 min drive and provides excellent downhill skiing and snow tubing.

Maximum eight adults and two children for a total of ten guests, as per township ordinance.

This cabin has it all. It is your choice to either relax, play or do both.
