Moose Lodge Crested Butte Home w/ Hot Tub, Mountain View's & Designer Decorated

Moose Lodge is a whole home rental located just minutes from downtown Crested Butte with amazing mountain views. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this home situated in a small community, close to town and walking distance to trail heads. Perfect for visiting in the winter ski season or the gorgeous summer months. A completely custom interior designed home, with extremely comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace, and private hot tub, you will enjoy every minute of your stay. Plenty of room for a large family to spend time together enjoying everything that CB has to offer!

In this home you will have three king size bedrooms with fully custom bedding and decor. With an incredible view, the primary bedroom features a king bed and on-suite bathroom with walk in shower. The other two bedrooms have king size beds and share a full bathroom with shower/tub. One of the rooms has a “loft” that we have turned into a space with two twin mattresses (note, you must use a ladder built to the wall to access the loft). Downstairs is the main living area with a comfy sleeper sofa, fully stocked chef's kitchen, laundry space and a half bath. You will find every necessity in this home as well as family games, a boot dryer, and ski racks in the garage, all for your use during your stay. The neighborhood is very peaceful, ideal for a family vacation. In the summer months there are playgrounds for the kids, trailheads and a river nearby. In the winter months, the drive to the slopes is just a few miles, or drive to town (3 miles) and grab the shuttle to the slopes. Crested Butte has become our family's favorite getaway, we hope it will become yours too!

Everything was great! Beautiful views. Make note that the room with twin beds is small and short - not very adult-friendly. A picture of this room would be helpful on the listing! But overall, such a lovely and easy stay.

Perfect location for our ski weekend!

This place was awesome! We were less than 10 min away from downtown and 20 from the mountain! Super spacious and clean! Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Crested Butte!

Amazing stay

Amazing stay with all the amenities. Kitchen had lots of items great for cooking and the hot tub was amazing. Lots of places to sleep and hangout. Not far from town or the mountain. A perfect stay!

Wedding Trip

Eight adults stayed here for a wedding. The house was beautiful and beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed. We did not have time for the hot tub however it’s a nice amenity. Although the home description said the 4th bedroom was a loft we were a bit surprised at the task to access it. It might be fine for older children however difficult for 50 aged adults. We made something work anyway. Crested Butte is stunning!

Beautiful and comfortable!

We loved this house - so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Two families with teens totaling 8 people had lots of space for meals and relaxing after skiing. Great proximity to CB. My only note would be to make sure to read description fully - the ladder / loft with two twin beds will feel ideal for small kids up for an adventure. Overall a fantastic find for a “special” time with friends or family!

Perfect Ski Trip Property

This gorgeous home is perfect for your next CB ski trip! The heated garage has ample hooks and hangers for all your gear as well as a boot dryer! The home was very clean, well stocked with all the basics you need, and property management was a dream to work with. Roads were plowed making travel into town easy.

Great stay but it’s really a 3 bedroom

The place was clean and had all of the items you would expect, the heated garage was great for keeping our ski boots warm. The twin beds were in a loft that you had to access through another bedroom via a ladder.

Great location and loved the hot tub. Pictures don’t show that the room with the twin beds is in an attic with a steep ladder and that there are bunk beds in the garage. Thankfully with our group it wasn’t an issue but could be for others

Friend reunion

Our two families had a wonderful stay at Moose lodge. The house is close to downtown, about a 20min bike ride along the path. The house was beautiful and very well maintained, and there were lots of little nooks for kids to play or teens to have some space away from the fray. The owner and property manager were both very friendly and easy to work with. We had a wonderful stay!

Lovely stay at Moose Lodge

This is a lovely property with lots of perks. We loved the hot tub, the games, and the spacious living area. Well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and lots of natural light. While the house is great, as has been mentioned before, it is definitely NOT a 4BR... it's a 3BR with a teeny loft reached by a steep ladder. We made it work with our two families' worth of kids, but more than 6 adults couldn't stay here comfortably. Other than that -- a wonderful house in an amazing town! Easy, prompt communication with owners, too. Thanks!

Not a true 4 bedroom

Very nice, clean, well-appointed, new construction home (duplex), but “four bedrooms “ should be qualified. The fourth is an alcove loft above one of the bedrooms with access by a straight ladder that is not suitable for an older or otherwise mobility limited person or very young children. And there’s no ventilation there, so it can be stuffy.

Moose Lodge for the Win!

We had two families, with kiddos ranging from an 8 month old to teenagers, and we all loved this home! The layout is so well done! The main floor is open, bright, inviting, and large. We had plenty of room to all hang out, and we cooked most of our breakfasts and dinners here. The kitchen was wonderful to use! The beds were so comfortable, and everything was clean. The bedrooms are all upstairs and large, with great bedding. This place still looks brand new. The owner was great to communicate with, and responded immediately. We had zero issues, just some questions and her service was prompt, professional and friendly. We brought 2 UTV’s on a large trailer and there was plenty of room to park everything. We had an absolute blast driving the UTV’s right out of the driveway and onto all the brush creek trails! Only a few minutes from town, and so nice to come back to the peace and quiet of this neighborhood. This was the perfect place for us this year! We loved it and will be back!

Misleading Listing

We stayed here in late March with 6 adults & 3 kids (5 and under). House is setup with living areas down and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Pros: •Large kitchen •Nicely decorated however, welcome message was aggressive with rules and stipulations if anything is slightly damaged. Things must be put back in exact spots or you pay •Nicely stocked with all kitchen supplies, towels, bedding, soap, etc. •Hot tub was nice after a long day skiing •House has radiant heating keeping it very warm. It was a hot at night, but there are ceiling fans in all bedrooms to help with air flow Cons: •There is a loft in one bedroom (not pictured), however, is not safe and would not pass building code. The ladder made of 2x4s and screws is straight up the wall making the space not usable •This is a duplex which is unintelligible from the photos. It’s not secluded either with a fire station on one side and apartments across the street •Snow removal service was not up to standards. We had to shovel out the drive and front porch to get into the house. Shovel at the house is a large sled-like shovel designed to push down a drive and not useful for either of those tasks •Amount of snow around the hot tub kept us from opening the cover all the way •Furniture is catchy to the eye but not comfortable to sit on •Garage is shown w/ two stalls, however, only one is usable. The owner has built bunk beds and has storage in the other stall •Water pressure is very low Nice for adults but wouldn't recommend for kids.

Great place! Beautifully decorated and clean! Sparkling hot tub! Easy to find and enter. Easy drive to ski area OR park at neighborhood entrance and catch the free bus. VERY comfy beds! Grill was clean and easy to use. Would love to have had a few basic spices and oils as well as foil / baggies. SO appreciated the ample dishwasher detergent, paper goods (except Kleenex) and trash bags! Had both Keurig and drip coffee makers (no coffee) as well as crock pot, adequate pots n pans and dishwater, and an air fryer! Great hostess!

Proposal at Crested Butte

We had some family from Colorado and family from Texas with a Proposal Mission planned. This duplex was in the perfect location to town and hiking trails with plenty of room for the 8 of us. The wild flowers were in full bloom which made our mission perfect.

Why they chose this property

My sons and I have skied in probably 15 spots and once we found Crested Butte we returned year after year for five years and then we were blessed to find this special home and a fantastic builder to create it. The charm of Crested Butte, the trails in the summer time, the dirt bike riding, the skiing and snowboarding, the restaurants, the shopping, the people, - I could go on and on but we love it here.

What makes this property unique

Moose Lodge got its name from our large Moose mount on the wall and the "Lodge" feeling of coziness you get from the intentionally curated design used to decorated space.
