Absolutely horrible-Do NOT stay here nor rent from this host
The worst rental I have ever stayed at. The host was very quick to respond until I arrived, saw the filth and safety concerns, and requested a refund . There were dead bugs in the freezer and in the bathroom on the backsplash of the sink. Everything was dirty. It was obvious the place was not cleaned in the last several months at least. There was thick dust caked on the ceiling fans. Every outlet in the place had either this weird brown sludge in the 3rd prong space or had evidence of being burnt. The 2 smoke detectors were broken or missing batteries, hanging off the walls. Lightbulbs were burnt out in the bathroom. Several sliding blind panels in bedroom were missing with sheer curtains over the windows. We arrived late and had no place else to stay, then left early the next morning and found other accommodations. I immediately messaged the host whom did not respond until my vacation was over and only after I sent a second message stating I was contacting vrbo. Then the response was ‘it’s a holiday weekend, sorry for the delay’. Yes you are correct, it was also ‘my’ holiday weekend that I had to pay for 2 different rental properties because this rental was filthy and not safe. I was told by the host I would receive a refund and it is now 2 weeks later and I have still not received anything. Do not rent this property and beware of renting from this host.
