House was beautiful and perfect for our family vacation! Brad was an excellent host and very responsive with any questions we had. We will definitely be back!!
Kids ranged from 11-16 LOVED the game room. House was perfect for our group of 13 and our 3 UTVs. Plenty of room. Everything as pictured and communication was great. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
Brad was an amazing host, and the property exceeded our expectations for the trip. Located just outside Deadwood SD in Lead, the property was in a new development featuring beautiful homes with rough sawn timber exteriors, rusted clad paneling, and other creative exterior clad treatments. No two homes were the same in this heavily wooded development, and we loved that! All five of us had our own King size bed and were perfectly comfortable. Hot tub was a nice touch after a long day of riding our bikes to see some beautiful sites, and the 3-car garage was plenty big enough to safely house our bikes as well. Could not recommend this place or its hosts enough! Hoping to return again.
Third time staying at Kickback Shack. We love it there!! Communication with Brad was excellent! We lost a phone there & within an hour they found it & mailing it to us!! Kids loved the game room. Kitchen stocked with everything thing you would need! Best location & very close to pool! Everything was perfect!! Looking forward to next year!! Thanks Brad!

We love to see families come back!! Thanks again for the stay. See you next year!
There were 6 adults and 3 kids that enjoyed our week stay at Kickback Shack. There are so many good things to say about the property. Every room having a king sized, comfortable bed. The house had everything you could need from the pressure washer in the garage to the instant meat thermometer in the kitchen. Crockpots, electric griddle, large grill, two refrigerators, ice machine, and let's not forget the game room. We could hardly get the kids out of there to go ride the trails. Brad was immediately responsive to the couple questions we had. Would highly recommend staying here!
EXCELLENT house in the area! We and a few other families had a wonderful time staying here. They had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space to spread out, the beds were comfortable, views were great! I’d say the game room and hot tub were the highlight! Great communication from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the area!
This place is phenomenal, the owners have thought of everything for every age group to make your stay enjoyable. Owner was fast to reply, very courteous. Highly recommend!
The host went above and beyond. He allowed us to check in early, which started our vacation off great. The house was well stocked and every detail covered. We spent the weekend in the big game room. The adults could play while watching the kiddos play.
We’ve stayed several times in the Black Hills. This property and neighborhood was one of our favorites! Plenty of space and things to do for all ages. Host was wonderful on communication. Very much enjoyed our stay!
We stayed a week and it was wonderful. The location and everything that was provided was great. The beds were very comfortable; the game room was fantastic. Brad was great; very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.
